(I’m not saying dual booting is bad, I’m just saying it doesn’t count as not using Windows, which is what most Windows users are opposed to, not to dual-booting with Linux.)
After like 15 years of ubuntu, I got so sick of their bulllshit that I switched to Debian a few months ago. It’s endlessly better.
I still have ubuntu on a raspberry pi(hole). Whenever I login to update, I get this message about “premium updates” or whatever they call it. It makes me want to barf but I haven’t motivated to switch the pi yet.
oooooooohohohohohoho you really got me with that last one.
Though at least I’m only addicted to R6: Siege and not CoD or Valorant like a fucking pleb
Edit: a MASSIVE /s I do unironically love Siege and it is actually what’s keeping Windows installed on my PC, but I admit it’s in no way a good reason to keep malware on my machine
It’s really just poker solitaire with a bunch of math added to flavorful bonus cards, if you’re not really into poker, solitaire, or math it isn’t going to be the right game for you.
I have a buddy that hates RNG, mostly plays shooter games, he hates poker in all its forms because of the randomness but I feel like learning to deal with probably and chance are really good lessons that apply to broader life.
LibreNMS has a very different purpose from your other monitoring options - it’s network monitoring at a large scale, not a generic data storage / data visualization platform. If your goal is to monitor your selfhosted servers and services, this is going to be an odd fit and you’ll probably struggle against it.
Better fits for an out-of-the-box monitoring setup would be CheckMK or Zabbix.
These other “stacks” for monitoring are a little more bespoke. To cover it briefly:
Grafana is popular because it is a fantastic visualization platform. The backend data storage is pluggable.
There are many options for data storage, all that are a little different. Graphite, is push-based and the Statsd compatibility makes it super simple to push your own metrics into it. Prometheus is pull-based. And InfluxDB is more of a time-series database.
running bannerlord with mods just fine, because some hero had already done the work for me and just gave me the terminal commands to make everything function sicko-tux
trump-drenched We have the best emotes, folks. The redditors said that we couldnt have them, the lemmitors said we couldnt have them. But who has them now? tromp
Mine are old, but I have in-law and ex-out-law old people around and it’s a mixed bag. Certainly nobody who would complain about the mix of Olympic athletes, but ex MOL will complain about welfare queens even though she herself got welfare to get through nursing school and has to know that statistically that’s how most people use it. And they will gather and whine.
I think my kids see me as progressive, their dad as actively and harmfully regressive, their stepdad (my husband) as old and not able to keep up with change, too conservative but not hateful.
