One reason may be that they’re not actually off when the ignition is off, they’re just asleep like your phone is when the screen is off but it’s still powered on.

Lucky for me that I had reported it to the police since I was considering using insurance to cover it. The officer that took the info recognised the persons name because he had pulled the guy over that week and thought it would be fun to catch him with stolen goods as well.
There is a "Knife Rights" organization that works to overturn these laws. From what I hear, they tend to be pretty successful, since there isn't a ton of attention on the issue and there isn't much in the way of entrenched opposition the way there is on the guns issue.
There are actually some legal movements to reduce unnecessary knife laws, because a lot of them are based around the idea of 50s punks and don’t make actual logical sense.
But yeah, it depends entirely on the state. The only knife laws in my state is you can’t conceal carry a Bowie knife, but all other knives (OTF, automatics, balisongs, etc) are legal.
Currently in college. They are agnostic as it’s all turned in on PDF files, quizzes on browser, etc but my online classes require I install some root kit program to make sure I’m not cheating and it detects if it’s on a VM. I talked to IT and they let me borrow a laptop with windows. Slow as hell, but I only need it for the online tests so 4 times a semester.

Honestly, I don't think it got any better than ATB systems in FF 6 and 7. Everybody else is either riffing on those or spending so much money they think they can't be those and need to be Devil May Cry instead.
Holy jam, I saw this and had to comment. So idk about rooting a Motorola because it's not a "mainstream" Android (as in pretty much Samsung) nowadays. But perhaps Legacy in that situation. But I did have a solution for you if you were interested that doesn't require rooting (as far as I know). I was goobing around on the internet and found this man who was talking about the perfect minimalist phone. And figured when I gave a shit I would mess around with ADK (I believe it is) and this git-repo. But the lovely Jose Briones apparently also supports this. So give it a check if you want because I remember seeing Motorola explicitly being used in both the OG and the offshoot.
Anyways - less invasive phone while not being totally degoogled and the battery lasts longer. Hope you dig in cause I think you'll end up really liking it. GL!
That scene with robots trying to get into the Infinity is basically copy-pasted from The Matrix (a homage, whatever you want to call it). Even the weird electrical pylons on the Infinity look like Nebuchadnezzar and other ships in The Matrix.
