The King James Bible was cobbled together using late sources and I don’t think the Catholic church was throwing the ‘deeper esoteric sources’ to the general uneducated masses.
So the bible is essentially a guide for how the masses should behave and doesn’t have much capacity to give people revelations and insight into God.
VNC is the kind of the baseline remote desktop that works on pretty much any operating system. You can start there & then decide if you need specific features that the others have.
You didn’t mention your own OS but it too probably already has support for its own remote desktop solution.
Windows has its default Remote Desktop Connection that uses RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol), once enabled it will listen on port 3389. It is pretty solid and has a few features beyond VNC. Just be careful, you probably don’t want to open that port onto the internet since every port scanner is scanning that port & looking for unpatched Windows vulnerabilities or insecure user/password logins.
I use RDP myself for my Windows system but I need to SSH into my network before using it, so it’s really RDP over SSH. If you’re not going to go through all that at the very least change the port to something else so it doesn’t get port scanned to death.
… TBH if you’re not too sure about how to secure this stuff maybe Chrome Remote Desktop is the best option, at least it’s secured behind your own Google account (hopefully that itself is secure and you have 2FA enabled).
Yeah my Google account has 2fa. I’ve been using chrome remote just was curious if there were “better” options. Guess I’ll just stick with chrome remote.

Most advertising is non-consensual, but I’m still whole-heartedly in agreement. One could argue that ads that are shown to a person consuming media without paying (podcasts, YouTube, etc), are kinda consensual.
If I could buy a large abandoned mall, I would absolutely love to turn it into an affordable community housing complex where shops can be set up alongside the housing units. There’s definitely more than enough space in any mall I’ve ever been to in America where you could easily renovate and turn stores into either single unit housing or maybe 2-3 units (big stores like JCPenney or Sears not included in this count because you could turn those into tens upon tens of units, assuming they’re as big as the ones at the mall near where I live).
I think I understand your taste and you will love Black Sails. This is also imo the single most underrated TV show ever.
I swear all the shows you mention lead me to black sails. I had a phase where I binged like 6 of the shows you mentioned plus black sails since they fit in so well together. I can’t say much more than, seriously, trust me on this one.
