Yes. Less blobs than ARM. I’m not even sure if some RISC-V have any blobs – someone correct me if I’m wrong.
Also getting cockblocked by proprietaryisms is bullshit. HDMI is a Circle Jerk of capitalism controlling competition and the market for self preservation.
For the “regular” versions it works like that. Release in October. For the “A” versions it has been a different story. That’s been more like every 11 months; since the 5A it has moved from August to May.
ah yeah. I actually just got a 7a. honestly I find these short upgrade times to make it harder to pay attention to the stuff at all. Its like eating at a place all the time as opposed to eating out rarely and being hungry to experience that favorite place when you can.
Definitely this, and maybe a motorized scooter for days that really require you to move around. Also check the conference site or call them to see if they offer any accommodations. But, OP, you’re probably not gonna be making it 15-25 miles a day no matter what you do. Be honest with yourself and others about your limitations and don’t push yourself too hard. Have a backup plan to get around if you need to.
I think this is better suited for asklemmy. This community isn’t for “what do you think?” type questions, it’s for questions about simple things that have a definitive answer but you feel kind of stupid for asking
Exactly, AskLemmy is great for asking about opinions or general banter, this is more a Q&A forum.
Sadly, these can count as genuine questions so mods don’t feel they break Rule 1 or any rule in particular. I’ve tried reporting opinion-questions like these before to no avail.
Many channels I watch have already been mentioned, but one comes to mind that hasn’t been: if you like Stuff Made Here and NileRed, you’ll love The Thought Emporium. Dude is a mad scientist, for real. His current long term project is trying to make a neural net that can play DOOM… except he means real neurons. Biological neurons grown in his self built lab, sourced from rats.
That’s a pretty bad argument if you’re making a case for these buildings. “It’s better than the streets”. What’s next? “Water and bread are better than being hungry”? I think we should cross a line somewhere.
Of course living in the streets is worse than any house, but it should never be the baseline. I’m not making a case against those buildings, just your arguments is shit.
They already have. Here in poland the commie-block apartments are bought and sold on the free market and a lot of them are kept empty as an investment while people have nowhere to live.
These problems exist everywhere where there is capitalism, no matter what infrastructure was already built there before.
Try to rephrase the question: is there an alternative to Mastadon in Fediverse where you can write posts in different threads (not only in your own feed)?
I like operating systems as boring as possible. Let it manage the underlying system while I focus on work. I think you just convinced me to try Arch now.
