The problem is that the game developers at Valve don’t know or care about their own platform. CS2 on Linux is an afterthought, possibly even ported by other people within Valve. CS2 had a lengthy beta period on Windows, with the formal CS2 release, the beta cycle on Linux just started.
If the distro just boots into a live session, you can get a pretty good idea there. They’re all working off of roughly the same kernel and driver and firmware sets, give or take some distros being a year out of date. The slower distros have something like “backports” or “enablement kernels” to still give you the option of pulling in newer stuff.
The graphics situation (compositor and mesa and kernel drivers and userland driver libraries) is more complicated. Especially with Nvidia. Your distro choice makes a much bigger impact there.
Yes. There was a new streaming service that I signed up for. I used an email alias and the confirmation email never arrived. They had no way to change my email address or activate my account except for me clicking the link in my email.
After a month my free trial expired (without me ever being able to log in), they added a second month of free trial while trying to activate my account. This went on for 5 months, finally the 6th month they did not give me another free month and I was charged. Still no solution for the situation. 7th month arrives and I get charged again. The 8th month I lost it. I knew most of the support and customer service reps at this point as I had talked with also all of them multiple times a week for months. But with no solution in sight and being charged for multiple times months I finally lost it on one of the CSRs. Surprisingly while I was on the phone with them they were able to cancel my account and issue a refund.
Teenagers do stupid shit. So while it’s not something everyone does, it absolutely happens. No it’s not something anyone should seriously try. You cannot effectively clean a vegetable and it can break, requiring embarrassing medical attention.
And yes, one of the reasons for an allowance is because teenagers need some agency and privacy to become normal healthy adults. If they want to explore their sexuality alone it’s perfectly natural.
When you’re trying to pee, try working up some spit in your mouth like you’re going to spit a bunch of saliva out. Not a loogie from the throat / sinus area but plain spit from under your tongue. For me it seems like this is connected to the piss-releasing nerves and helps to let it flow.
Pixel phones have been too big for me for a while. They won’t fit in my pockets comfortably and I don’t want to have to stretch to reach the top of the screen. Come out with something 5.75" tall or less and I’ll re-engage.
