I am setting up a Linux server (probably will be NixOS) where my VM disk files will be stored on top of an NTFS partition. (Yes I know NTFS sucks but it has to be this way.)...

One of the biggest things holding me back from jumping definitively on Linux is possibly getting rid of the apps/games i’m comfortable with and know well. How do you exaclty use Wine/Proton? You install it, launch the app with it and pray it works? Are there ways to know what is not working and possibly try to fix them...

Torrenting this show isn’t an option. Every torrent I’ve tried has this specific episode missing, with a duplicate episode in its place. Most of the streaming sites do, too. The only stream I’ve found is on vidsrc.me, and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to download it....
