I’ve been using my Rancilio Silvia with my Eureka Mignon Manuale grinder to pull two double shots daily for about a year now. I’ve been working really hard to maintain consistency with my distribution and tamping, but the one thing that has been consistent is how uneven the extraction is....
Hey guys, I know this isnt a question regarding HAM… so I apologize for that… But I couldnt think of another community that I could ask, since my knowledge of radio comms is so limited....
By now, it’s well known that Pokémon Go sucks. My biggest problem with it is just how shallow it is. It’s like a minimum viable product with a vaguely addicting gameplay loop....
Looking to setup a syslog service for my home lab, more to better troubleshoot issues with random hardline disconnects from the switches. I was told that syslog stack would be the best thing especially for long term use. My question is, that the best option or would y’all suggestion something else? I have been looking at...
Ahoy mateys! I recently added Readarr to my arsenal, and I’m having trouble with some settings. I can’t figure out how to stop Readarr from automatically adding every book from an author. I have my settings set to None for both the specific authors and globally, but still everytime I add a new book, that authors entire...
Lets assume we develop the capacity to create virtual worlds that are near indistinguishable from the real world. We hook you up into a machine and you now find yourself in what effectively is a paraller reality where you get to be the king of your own universe (if you so desire). Nothing is off limits - everything you’ve ever...
I’m very tired of SMS being horrible and necessary. Matrix has a bridge for SMS, but it doesn’t work very well. There’s other SMS bridges, no idea how well they work....

I already have a sizable collection (nothing worthy of datahoarding) and would like to add a foreign language for my parents (French). Subtitles are already taken care of with Bazaar, that’s a big help. I use Plex and Jellyfin is my backup....
I’m interested in running a service like homarr. This would give my family access to view stuff easily, and I could link to the rest of my services. My main concern is linking jellyseerr, and giving what could be strangers access to make requests....
Asking because I get reports I make, it would seem rather silly to me if I can’t report misconduct because I’m on my own instance....
I found one post from 12 hours ago that describes the problem: lemmy.ml/post/2650814 - but that’s all I’ve seen. Content is way down on lemmy.ml with nothing coming in from .world...
What is everyone using for their logging solution? So far I’ve not really done anything and just tail the container log when something is going wrong but a more long term, robust log aggregator would be great....
(apologies in advance if this isn’t the right community for this question)...
