I built a PC for the family yesterday, and I’m hoping to get away with going 100% Linux. What makes me a little nervous is that Epic Games, GOG, battle.net, EA store, etc don’t officially support Linux. If I try using Lutris, or Heroic Games Launcher, or something similar to use those platforms, is there a chance my account...

I’ve had this CD for ages. Decades. It would always skip at a certain parts on two of its tracks. I’ve never in my life heard the full CD because of this reason, always having to skip forward to the next track....

Unsure if this is the place to ask or not but figured it was closest to it....

Nextcloud seems to have a bad reputation around here regarding performance. It never really bothered me, but when a comment on a post here yesterday talked about huge speed gains to be had with Postgres, I got curious and spent a few hours researching and tweaking my setup....

I have a Python-package that calls Inkscape as part of a conversion process. I have it installed, but through Flatpak. This means that calling inkscape does not work in the terminal, but rather flatpak run org.inkscape.Inkscape. I need the package to be able to call it as inkscape....

Hi friends. I’m new to the whole homeserver. I managed to make a ton of progress very quickly using CasaOS but I’ve been hung up on this for a couple of days now....

I tried finding some research and found lots about freezing matter or putting it under extreme pressure, but not trying both....

This is a community where we take something true today, flip the statement, and then create a semi-plausible story about how the world changes from one place to the other....

I used to use iOS, and there was a great emulator called “Delta”. It was open source and free, and it was so easy to add games to it’s library. Is there such an app for Android? I would very much like it if the app was open source and free.

EDIT: I enabled CONFIG_MSDOS_PARTITION and that caused it to work. It had nothing to do with the device itself but the partition type on the sd card....

Im using grub with shim for secure boot, and it looks like it cannot load unsigned font files, how i can sign them?
