What's the name of the fallacy where someone appeals to different circumstances that don't currently apply in order to justify something?
Here is the fallacy I’m describing:...
There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.
Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.
Here is the fallacy I’m describing:...
I just got a bill for a Wayfair credit card that was issued by Citi bank that I did not apply for. I never even shopped on that website....
Hi all,...
all the containers change IP addresses frequently. For home assistant a static IP address of the proxy manager is mandatory in order to reach it. For jellyfin it is useful to see which device accesses jellyfin. If the IP always changes, it doesn’t work properly....

I recently acquired two used blade servers and a short rack to put them in. I’m planning to use one or the other as the replacement for a media server that died on me a bit ago. The old media server was just a little refurb dell workstation, with a single SSD in it, but the servers have 6 and 8 bays, respectively....
What in your hoard do you treasure the most? I imagine to a lot of us it is photos and videos of our families, which I’d love to hear about, but also interested in rare bits of media or information that makes your collection unique.

I want to try bitmagnet on the dev server at work (yes, we have permission to use it for personal reasons as long it’s legal) but for obvious reasons it must be tunneled through a VPN....
It’s an alternative jellyfin + radarr + sonarr (jellyseer) front end. It’s in very early stages but it looks and feels so good. I read on the issues that work will progress but there needs to be a lot of planning....
I’m trying to update my grub boot order back to booting the first option instead of the second, so I run sudo nano /etc/default/grub, but it brings up this, which is not the file I want to edit....
The title explains it well. But I installed Mint on a 2nd partition, then deleted it since I no longer used it, and now Grub dumps me to the command line on boot :/...
