New ssd shows not selectable in the bios boot menu

I was planning on installing windows to my new ssd for a dualboot, but I noticed that windows installer didn’t allow me to select the disk. I learned that it just installs to the drive that is marked as M2_1 in the bios. I thought that had something to do with boot order initially, but I’m not sure about that now. If it is...

2 Swag Instances to 1 Cloudflaire domain

I have the arr stack and immich running on a beelink S12 pro based on geekau mediastack on GitHub. Basically, and I’m sure my understanding is maybe a bit flawed, it uses docker-proxy to detect containers and passes that to swag, which then sets up subdomains via a tunnel to Cloudflaire. I have access to my services outside of...

Custom Starfield Elite v2 Controller

Heya together. I was fancing the official Xbox Starfield controller but I’m so used to paddles, that I can’t play with a regular controller anymore. I then stumbled upon a shell for the Elite V2 Controller. I walked the extra mile and replaced the thumbstick base for a red one and I also ordered two sets of paddles and...

Matrix on Raspberry Pi

Hi! I’ve done some research on self hosting Matrix for Matrix Bridges on a Raspberry Pi 5. Some people have said online that Matrix will be too beefy for an RPI due to large federated chatrooms and information. However, would it still be worthwhile installing just for my own bridges for social media, and maybe as a secure way...

Hi, I have my TIM (Italy) ONT installed (its a ZXHN F6005, which I think is also installed by OpenFibre in the UK). This is connected to a TIM router and them to a minipc machine that has pfsense installed. I believe the ZTE ONT can be directly connected to the WAN port of the pfSense machine by having pppoe set on the WAN...

Possible to use Linux for Wi-Fi drivers on Windows?

Sorry if this is slightly off topic, I searched for communities about tech support on here and couldn’t find anything that wasn’t dead in the water. Basically I want to use WPA3 on my Network, however my Windows partition doesn’t support WPA3 for some reason. I only keep that piece of trash around for school work. My...

How do I make enough money to live?

Yes, I do have a full-time job, and I even enjoy it, but it doesn’t pay enough to survive in this hellscape of a world we live in. I lack the college degree required to get almost any decent-paying job (plus my last job hunt took MONTHS to get a lead), I don’t have the skills or originality to become an online content...
