You know how sometimes you do something stupid and then have to live with the consequences and then next time you don’t make the same mistake?

Saying that people’s will should not be respected is very far from what democracy is. The will of the people is ultimate in democracy. And in the beginning, people will make mistakes. The only way to stop making mistakes is by practicing further.

Yes. As an admin of an instance who really doesn’t want child porn on my server, I’m gonna defederate the shit out of any instance that doesn’t take care of such content in a reasonable time. And in my opinion, loli is child porn, so defederating there as well.

Other than that, anything that’s illegal in my jurisdiction.

And the last category, spam and bigotry. Basically anything that puts too much work on my plate - if I get dozens of reports a day for users of a single instance (and I agree with the reports), I’ll defederate, because no one’s paying for my time.

Well, one “brotherly help” from Russians was enough to cause so much fucking damage that we’re not over it 30 years after it ended.

We have more cultural similarities with Germans or Austrians than we do with Russians. To the point that if you visit Vienna you could easily mistake it for Prague (not taking landmarks into account, of course).

I have no common identity with Russians. Yeah, our languages share the same roots, but that’s all.

All the talk about unification of Slavs is one of the reason nobody likes Russians. No, thank you, we already are in a union (EU) and generally speaking, it’s a much better deal, because we share actual history (good and bad) instead of language roots and a few decades of being occupied (and murdered) by Russians.

What games would you suggest that have LAN support these days?

While PC may be one's first thought here, I'd also be really interested in any mobile games that might leverage one's local wifi network for multiplayer.

Classics are a-okay for suggestion too, btw!

Heroes of Might and Magic V, aka the best one (go on and fight me, HOMaM III gang). Even better with the unofficial 5.5 patch/mod which adds tons of gameplay.

I tried it, but just can’t see the appeal after having played 5. The graphics are horrible and the gameplay is almost the same as 5.
