What's some really unpopular opinion you have?
Most of the time when people say they have an unpopular opinion, it turns out it’s actually pretty popular....
How many of you are actually chatbots?
How authentic are forums like these actually? With the rise of AI chatbots, internet interaction feels more fake than ever before. Why should I post here my opinions and thoughts, share articles etc. when probably most of you are just chatbots?

What's your favourite Lemmy community so far?
Just curious and want more to sub to :)
weirdgirlmemes - for a very specific brand of memes/shitposts for feminine introverts. it features memes relating to mental health and introversion. Don't take it too seriously ;) (lemmy.world)

TrueUnpopularOpinion
Yes, this had to be made because already I am a little disgruntled about how the main unpopularopinion community is ran and what content I’ve found on there. So I wanted to make a true version, the ‘true’ part being, that it’s sought for more thoughtful opinions that are beyond 2 lines and actually are more fleshed out...

I can’t really think of a reason for that as Reddit is hated somewhat equally by “both” sides of the spectrum. It’s just something I find interesting.
How do you know if you truly love someone as a mother?
This might sound pretentious or trippy. But it’s just a thing I haven’t found a proper answer for....
Which Lemmy android app is the most battery efficient?
Does it make a difference which one I use? I am using an old phone (~5 years old). Currently using liftoff! and connect. Feel like my phone is dying a lot quicker since I switched from using infinity for reddit a month or so ago
I feel like Fediverse users are nicer to each other and more generous with upvotes than reddit.
i’m doing it because I want to make the fediverse more friendly place, in hopes of making it more welcoming for new users, and the nicer place in general. But I wonder how much is just less bots.
Why does it seem different platforms of the fediverse are not so good at communicating with each other? Is this something that will eventually improve? (kbin.social)
I have an account on kbin. Recently I saw a post across my feed in which a magazine that I follow (that's based on a Lemmy instance) was celebrating over 1k subscribers. When I visited, I saw only 240 or so....
Can I get a "Lemmy for dummies" intro?
How do I make the politics and news subs go away? It’s all ridiculously biased to the lib side and I’m as centrist/moderate as a human can possibly be, and don’t want “news” from a polar source (and this joint definitely is)....

With the number of people concerned about privacy, it is a wonder why chrome is even popular.
