It depends on the game, quick action packed stuff you can see the jumping and in something like a shooter it can be a disadvantage.

For something like Slay the Spire tho, totally fine.

I have a Oneplus 5t that I still use for miscellaneous tasks, battery life is good, updates stopped a few years ago, but Lineage runs very well on it. And it was probably less then half the price of the iPhone XS Max.

When’s the last time you used an android Tablet? We have a Samsung Tab S6 and it runs excellently, there was a long period where they were downright bad, but if you don’t buy some super cheap no-name brand, they’re much better these days.

I was about 13, parents were getting divorced, house was being shortsaled, mom had moved out already and took the main computer with her, dad got a really old Windows XP Dell laptop (had a red nubbin) from a friend to use, it ran so extremely slow on XP already (literally would take minutes to load a video and it was choppy doing just that) I knew Vista or 7 couldn’t run on it so I looked online for other OSes that might work.

Landed on Linux mint, got that bad boy set up in my little sisters (now empty) room as it was in the corner where I could reach my neighbor friend’s wifi. I watched so much Bleach/Naruto that summer lol

Luckily I had setup that neighbor friends wifi with DDWRT so I knew the pw :P

I think JK Rowling is still canceled, but… HP stuff is very special to a lot of people. They’re able to separate her from the world she created I think.

If asked point blank most would probably be aware of and disagree with her stance on trans people.

It actually does, just got a new car with the smart lane assist and cruise control and it’s honestly really nice. It’s not full self driving or anything and it often gets confused on big bends, areas with construction or roads with little to no lines, but on highways and major roads it’s just nice.

I am serious, I don’t see how the argument that centralized social media sites like Facebook, reddit or X were “taken over” when they are outright owned by those companies. It’s a completely different situation with the fediverse were they literally can’t have the same power as they don’t hold the keys to everyone’s servers, the development of activity pub as a whole or anything of that nature. I get told by a lot of people in my life that I’m smart, I don’t FEEL very smart though, I just tend to catch on to things quicker then others and will dive deeper in subjects I find interesting. Let me explain this further, imagine a German person during the Nazis reign in Germany lives in the US, if they fly the flag of the Nazis, do you think they’re endorsing what the government of Germany is doing? If someone vandalized their flag because they disagreed with what Nazi German was doing, would you consider that to be anti-german or anti-nazi?

Let me be absolutely clear, I don’t condone violence against any one aside from in self defense, I think everyone deserves the right to try and find happiness and meaning in life as long as it doesn’t come at the cost of other people’s well being. I don’t consider vandalizing a flag of a country that is committing war crimes to be violence against people. Just like I wouldn’t think burning or otherwise vandalizing a US flag for all the shit the US has done is anti-American (the people who live in America or were born there and moved out of state vs the government/people in power in the US) but nuance is hard apparently.
