They should be in all first aid kits. Extremely long shelf lives, very stable and very useful.

Guest_User ,

You get 4 miles per kwh and they get 3.3 and you call that insanely high? The 2.5-4 mile to kwh is really standard for EVs. I don’t think the 3.3 is outside of the norm at all.

Guest_User ,

Oh I see that error now. I guess I just assumed from context his 6kwh panels generated 2 miles per hour. I get the confusion though

Guest_User ,

They mentioned their car uses 3.3 kwh per mile. With their solar setup they can generate around 6hwh per hour. Meaning they can generate roughly 2 miles every hour of sunlight.

Click the three lines and click settings. Then you can choose a default country. First time using this tool so can’t advocate for it but you can absolutely change countries very easily.

Guest_User ,

That phrase is way before the IT crowd

Guest_User ,

Fantastic show and I certainly approve the reference!

Guest_User ,

Massive congratulations

Everyone? Well let me be a change then. I love my smart watch. It vibrating wakes me up easier than alarm. Step and sleep tracking is really useful to me. While a gimmick sure, I really enjoy being able to update and change my watch face on a whim. Even with always on display, constant heart rate tracking and step tracking, my watch easily lasts 48 hours and charges within an hour while I’m in the bathroom getting ready in the morning. I get it’s not for everyone but far cheaper than a Rolex and way more functionality.

Not trying to poke the bear, but what’s the issue with calling China communist?

Google's "Manifest V2" Chrome extension phaseout next month is expected to impact the original uBlock Origin extension, which still uses the V2 framework and has 37 million users (www.theregister.com)

The new MV3 architecture reflects Google’s avowed desire to make browser extensions more performant, private, and secure. But the internet giant’s attempt to do so has been bitterly contested by makers of privacy-protecting and content-blocking extensions, who have argued that the Chocolate Factory’s new software...

Running Linux? Graphic drivers all updated and is FF updated?

Guest_User ,

I get your point but totally disagree this is the same as SWATing. People can die from that. While this is bad, she was excluded from stores, not murdered

Game kills all life on earth when starting

I just finished setting up Linux Mint for an old buddy of mine on his old dog of a laptop, rendering it useful once again! (i.imgur.com)

Edit 2: to everyone suggesting an SDD: i know. Look, if this guy had enough $$$ for an SSD, he could buy a used lappy less than half the age of this one that has an ssd and 2-3x the memory....

Just playing devils advocate but a faster drive would allow better page caching even with the low ram which is probably already happening on that terribly slow HDD.

Guest_User ,

You will always be able to spoof your MAC address if needed. I don’t see the standard ever changing enough to prevent that.

Guest_User ,

Seriously. That was a tiny hole it got pushed into

Guest_User ,

Does it still have “hidden test” working?

Guest_User ,

Eh, one is a professional doing a job and the other is a redditor. I put the blame on the professional who put their own life and the others they work with in jeopardy.

Guest_User ,

I don’t think they do view it as negative, their stock is climbing aggressively on this news.

Guest_User ,

Not sure saying the company is failing is accurate. Their stock is up 10% today on their news. That’s a bonkers one say jump for a company this big.

Guest_User ,

Oh I totally agree and I’m not saying this single day is the biggest day of tesla. Just that this news isn’t singling the end either. But over all, the stock price has done stupidly well. 800% increase in 5 years for a company this size. Absolutely wild, in any context. I have no money in it and don’t plan to, nor will I buy a car from them just to make it clear I’m not a fan boy.

Guest_User ,

Would I call GME a thriving stock before the hype? I do think their stock price was a little undervalued before the hype, and I think it’s a little over valued now. I certainly agree stock price is not always 1:1 of a company’s health, but it is a fantastic indication for outsiders. But to say telsa is failing because of this news I think is incorrect. Also, to say their stock is doing poorly by any metric I would also say is incorrect. I’m no Wallstreet broker though.

Guest_User ,

Fair enough. If you really are that confident then buy some short positions and rake in the cash! I’m done playing those games as it’s too volitile and I’m too bad lol mutual funds for me because I can admit I can’t see the future of companies

Guest_User ,

That’s my point with my last comment. It would be gambling because no one can really tell where the company is going. People say they know company X will go up or down but never put their money where their mouth is. If a company fails, the stock will go down. If the company does well, the stock will go up. Absolutely the relationship between company health and stock valuation is a bit blurred, but they are clearly closely related.

Darknet Drug Dealers Arrested After Packages of Meth-Laced Adderall Repeatedly Returned to Sender (www.404media.co)

Police arrested three men accused of selling thousands of pills of meth-laced “Adderall” on various darknet marketplaces and mailing them through the United States Postal Service through a fictitious business called “Professional Paper Filing Inc.” that listed a real return address of an uninvolved business. That...

Guest_User ,

Wrong, fake addresses get picked up and flagged quickly. Valid addresses are required to keep the operation moving. One dark net dealer used the addresses of sex offenders as the addresses are publicly listed, and he didn’t care if they got caught with drugs.

It is wild how polorized American politics have become. There’s no way it’s natural is it?

Guest_User ,

They called it crust first but people complained that the crust was just the rim bit.

Guest_User ,

It keeps on claiming. The over all earning results were fantastic. The stock is going ballistic due to the correct info, not the mistake.

Guest_User ,

Do specific cars actually make you think of other men’s cocks? I too think pavement princess trucks are a joke but I just don’t understand why other people seem to think of genitals when they see vehicles.

Guest_User ,

Huh I guess there isn’t an age limit to dick jokes lol thanks for sharing!

What's the equivalent of physics constants for social studies?

In physics, it’s common to develop a formula and then stick a constant to explain the unknown. For example, Newton’s theory of gravity uses the gravitational constant G on the formula F = G * m_1 * m_2 / r^2, later on Einstein gave a more accurate explanation with the theory of relativity which does not rely on a constant E...

Hey apparently I’m a part of your brigade. Do I get paid or something now? Maybe even just some hashbrowns?

Guest_User ,

Depends on your nutritional goals and other food sources. If you eat nothing but fast food, you probably don’t need any extra fat or sodium. But if you eat pretty lean, eating some fat calories from cheese certainly isn’t a bad thing.

Guest_User ,

You asked how much was healthy, I gave an answer. Then you say add more? Lol what’s your point? You can eat an unhealthy amount of carrots. If you have self control issues maybe you shouldn’t be around cheese, is that the answer you want?

Guest_User ,

Heat pumps can be more than 100% energy efficient so you could be net negative to what you are doing now. Also genuinely curious that carbon neutral point. Wouldn’t net carbon output be a bigger issue? Like you could burn half the Amazon rainforest to heat your home and claim you were carbon neutral right? But really, you do you!

Guest_User ,

You can have anchovy free Worcestershire sauces. It’s actually a generic term for a class of fermented sauces, many have anchovies, but it is not a requirement

Quick random tangent. I feel like churches were a great social gathering place. Now so many are leaving religion, or at least churches behind. The sense of community is dying and it’s hard to build a physical social network anymore.

Edit: I guess I should have been more clear, I am not religious and stopped going to church around 14 when my parents stopped forcing me to go so over 20 years ago now. But in my lifetime that was a huge social gathering place. Movie theaters are dead here, there are no roller rinks or anything like that. It’s just sitting in bars or coffee shops but even there many people rightfully like to stick to themselves with headphones on instead of chatting with strangers.

I just used churches as an example as in my life I saw their utility for meeting a community of people.

Singles looking to mingle night, singles and couples, not looking to mingle night, and orgy night. Those are three good nights to start off with!

Guest_User ,

Genuinely asking, what do you gain by transferring the physical Sim?

Guest_User ,

If SIM swapping is your concern, know that it is just as simple to do with physical SIMs. It’s not like your phone number is hardcoded to that one card alone. The phone company can easily move your number around. Literally anything you’d want to do with a physical SIM you can do with an eSIM. Some very niche situations may be easier with a physical one but over all it’s a much nicer experience with eSims

Guest_User ,

Lol did you even read the article, or title of the article XD you absolutely can switch them between phones. Am I being trolled?

Guest_User ,

I kind of seeing like saying “the world’s fastest car”. It’s inferred that it has the ability to do that, not the the car never slows down or helium never heats up. Idk my 2c

Guest_User ,

Lol correct. Speed doesn’t kill, acceleration does
