Call it defensive because it’s protecting rights if you want. But one side is protecting rights.

I’m voting for women’s right to choose. I’m voting for pot legalization. I’m voting to fund Ukraine. I’m voting for gay rights. I’m voting for trans right to medical treatments. I’m voting to keep public education accurate. I’m voting to keep public libraries stocked. I’m voting for addressing climate change.

And yes, I’m also voting against subverting democracy, corruption, erratic behavior, and domestic terrorism.

90% of the “both sides” arguments are summed up by people who don’t realize that open conservatives have been part of the party for a long time, including Joe Manchin.

I don’t know all of your views, but as a progressive, it feels like “both sides” people are keeping one foot firmly planted in the radical door.

It’s a wedge issue. That’s all that matters to them.

First, they don’t give a fuck about those people.

Second, intentional vagueness that can be weaponized. Be as heinous as humanly possible to keep the base talking about it.

Third, exaggerate issues that moderates care about like bathrooms, sports, and regretted transitions.

Fourth, ideally for them, the left will talk about all the heinous shit and not address the actual discussions.

That’s a pretty damned huge exception. Also, the dumbass wall. Also a they’re a lot less restrictive to asylum seekers. Also, he tried to undo Trump’s covid immigration executive order, which got blocked by courts. Actually, they’re quite different. In fact if you think Biden’s policies are bad, you better hope and pray Trump doesn’t get back in.

But voting is literally how we decide who is in power, and it cost nothing. SCOTUS being hijacked by radicals is a direct result of the 2016 election. Everyone got together and decided (through the Electoral College) that Trump was the person to lead us. Everyone had a voice. Some chose not to use that.

More like CINOs? Like all of their values are solidly moderate liberal values, or even slightly left of that. Any single issue they’re probably aligning with Dems. But they don’t “feel” liberal. If I were to bet on it, I’d say they’re still voting Biden.

I literally saw Animal Well for the first time on the sale page on PSN just before it launched. I thought about buying it because it looked good.

Meanwhile, I saw a ridiculous amount of hype for XVI every time news or a trailer dropped for it. The demo convinced me to pick it up, and I’m so glad I did. It sucks because it’s the first mainline single player game since XII (or maybe X) that lives up to the brand.

I understand people not liking Biden. Or even hating Biden for supporting Israel.

I just don’t want another 4 years of undermining Democracy, women, LGBTQ, non-whites, non-Christians, the poor, peaceful protest, the constitution, etc. Every day I see another headline that is direct fallout from the other guy being president.

And yes, it’s Biden’s responsibility to appeal to voters (which I take into consideration even when he does things I disagree with). The same way I blame Hillary for refusing to listen to anybody. But I’m also blaming any voter who chooses to help put Trump back in office.

That’s wild. Netflix has been kinda shit for so long, when they upped their prices we quit no problem. I’ll probably sub for a month when Sandman or Stranger Things comes back.

On the other hand, we have Disney running most of the time. When it’s not playing Bluey and Spidey and His Amazing Friends, it’s playing one of their movies. And when the kids go to sleep I’m watching X-Men '97.

Also, I thought She-Hulk was fantastic. But it’s kind of crazy to me that THAT was what soured the MCU. Thor Love and Thunder and Quantumania soured it for me (and on the TV side, Echo has Secret Invasion and Echo were not good). I didn’t even see The Marvels, which turned out to be fine.

Dang, Falcon and the Winter Soldier was my favorite of the shows and John Walker is my favorite new character in awhile.

And yeah, the She-Hulk ending is legit something that would have happened in her own solo book. But I can see it not landing with people not familiar with her. Kind of like Fantastic Four meeting Jack Kirby would be comic accurate, but would probably be too weird for a movie.

I think Cocomelon has a free app, at least it does on our Roku.

IMO, the Flag Smashers were just a plot device for the rest of the show to happen around. They were definitely the worst part, but I also didn’t care about them.

I loved Zemo though. Every second. I don’t remember the police officer at all.

There are a lot of console exclusives that I like. I think an argument can be made that companies like Sony and Microsoft can add funding and support to make games better, sacrificing profits for console value.

With Xbox failing for another console, putting out half-baked products, and buying IPs instead of creating new ones, I’m worried that Sony will just start maximizing profits.
