I’ve had the weird thing where I suddenly lose sight in my dream. Like sticking your head in water and trying to see underwater. The dream went on.

This was a semi regular occurrence that added to the dread of the situation.

Only later my girlfriend told me that sometimes I would open my eyes when asleep, which freaked her out. Only a while later I managed to connect the dots. I was trying to see in my sleep and opened my eyes irl, causing me to lose vision in my dreams and seeing a weird blurry unrelated thing instead.

Nope, I’m for social democracy and think a healthy government is a balance between left and right. This balance has been lost lately.

I’m looking towards the violent shifting of power and ideology after the French Revolution. Its people coming to power through struggle, wreaking revenge on the other side of the Isle and then the balance of power shifting again, with the same violent results.

Unchecked power isn’t pretty. There need to be balance. However the discourse is creeping to the right almost everywhere and that fudges a lot up.

Well in a well balanced system the industry and high captial woudn’t have the most influence on politics. Redistribution of wealth can be archieved without bloodshed.

In my opinion that is, I don’t think capitalist he d gemony is evil per se, only if it’s allowed to run rampant, which it does without proper checks and blances.

I played TF2 since beta. I’ve played competitive (nothing major, just etf2l div 3) and been to a couple of lans. I have about 3000 hrs logged.

My mains are demo, soldier and scout. Heavy and spy I rarely play. I still hop on every now and then, on a community server that’s still going strong.

The first sentences be true, then it drives off a whacky tangent, or what science calls “a cliff”.

The first sentence isn’t true at all, science doesn’t try and disprove god at all. It’s just inconvenient for people who used to explain things as ‘god made it’ that science didn’t manage to prove that.

Science is the only belief system that tries to falsify theorems. So rather than daarin something is true, we try to prove something is false. That doesn’t gel with a system that supposes to have the absolute answer to all things.

However it doesn’t say you can’t believe what you want, just that it might not be true.
