This is how all enterprise companies I worked for operates too. Only when I joined a smaller company with 80 people I realized that it can be really fun to work. We get a lot of stuff done and hardly any meetings. Really enjoying it.

I tried it today. It’s cool and I can see why people like it. I liked some parts of it. The ability to filter output from previous shell commands is nice, don’t have to have vim or use rg to filter things on remote machines.

Path completion over ssh was a bit slow-ish but worked.

Command completion was nice too, works like fzf over your shell history (which I already have in other shells).

I will try it some more but I haven’t fallen in love with it yet. It feels a bit slower than kitty to me.

I don’t know where that hatred comes from, but I can only assume it’s because those guys couldn’t find good ladies to be with. They probably got rejected a lot and now they don’t like wimen at all. But I don’t know for sure.

Another stepping stone to a much worse world. We won’t know what is real anymore.

I think it’s very cool technology, but in the hands of governments and psyops, it’s going to brainwash entire countries.

Want another 9/11? Sure no problem. Blow up a building, tell people you have some random video of what happened, captured by civilians…place evidence in locations where it will be found.

I think some governments already had tech like this but not all.

It will be interesting to follow this. Probably lots of fake videos on YouTube as a consequence where events are not real but used to stir up aggression.

It’s the American version of what Putin is doing all the time.

I’m not even sure he is dead, personally. It’s possible he got relocated to some southern country where nobody will ever find him. Fake death happens now and then.

He was rich and powerful, so… Those guys have their own ways.

This is a question that should be asked and learned in school. Maybe then we wouldn’t have so many broken people.

Ever notice how no schools have any emotional intelligence lessons whatsoever?

It’s all focused on learning shit for work. Not much for handling life issues, that happens to everyone, all the time.

Ok some examples that makes me angry:

  • People being mean to animals
  • People who don’t care about others (plays loud music, talks loudly on phone in public places etc).
  • People who treat others badly because they look good and think they are better because of it

I think the right response to this is to get angry. Not saying its helping, but getting angry at someone is perfectly fine sometimes.

Maybe the problem is that we don’t show anger, so the idiots mentioned above never gets to suffer for their actions.

I don’t feel this way because I don’t watch the news.

If you watch that stuff, you are doing exactly what they earn money on. You being anxious, you clicking, you worrying.

You need to start focusing on your own life. Turn off that damn TV and stop watching news. What are you going to do next? Take a walk? Listen to music maybe? Watch a movie with friends? Eat cake?

Take back control of your emotions. Spend a day without watching the news. Can you even do it? Or will you become too anxious and worried by not knowing what’s happening?

I seriously don’t think people have any power to change anything at all. The game is completely rigged. I understand they people want to have hope that things can get better, but I don’t see any sign of that.

My girlfriend takes time to make the room background nice and clean and make sure the lighting is good so she doesn’t look reddish or too whitish or whatever.

People get judged even more over video now… Lols.

I never have my camera on. People whine a bit about that but it’s worth it not having to be judged every morning.

There will be alternatives I think. Maybe the web turns into even more trash but then there will be alternatives for people who knows where to look.

Well yes, sounds like the office is better for you with your personality traits. The issue is when they want all of us to sit there and try to work in an environment that is horrible for work (for the ones of us who needs focus and silence).

Also i agree about career advancement being better in offices, which is why I’m a consultant so I don’t have to care.
