I’m trying to install Proxmox on a server that is going to be running Home Assistant, a security camera NVR setup and other sensitive data, I need to have the drives be encrypted with automatic decryption of drives so the VMs can automatically resume after a power failure....

My adventures in building out a ceph cluster for proxmox storage....

Right now I’ve been using Tailscale because it automatically adapts to my network conditions. If I’m at home, it’ll prioritize local network connection, but when I’m out and about, it’ll automatically beam a direct connection or use a relay....

I use a simple 2.5" external usb drive connecter to my router as a shared drive on my home network. I also use it to run my router’s torrent download tool and get new content....
