News from Texas USA start to sound a lot like news from catholic Poland lately. I just can´t imagine this kind of fucked up shit is what Jesus wanted though /s
4 indictments (so far), 94 charges (so far), RICO charges, many of us watched in realtime as all this dumb shit was happening as it was fucking obvious, overwhelming proof, even his own people have turned on him, now law and order is coming for him and his useful idiots.
I’m sure your either a paid troll, or a pol/ edgelord troll, or perhaps someone who has been a victim of the propaganda machine - this post is hoping you have just been a victim of the rightwing outrage and misinformation media industrial complex, and I hope you get better
That does seem to be the Republican strategy. Well, prosecute your opposition’s children anyway. But it doesn’t seem to be working out the way they’d hoped.
This is sketch af but par for the course with DPRK. I do not doubt for a second that there is racial discrimination in the army, but the dude could have fled to…South Korea? I guess I just find the excuse that risking the DMZ and settling in NK was the next best option. I do hope he is okay though, and I hope his story ends in a manner that’s not the worst case scenario or close to it.
The people who bought into those lies don’t just automatically not believe them now. If Democrats would go on the offensive once in a while and if our useless mass media would do some investigating, we wouldn’t have to rely on lawsuits years after the fact to finally shut some of these people up.
Neutrality is about ISPs being content-neutral. Xfinity won’t block or slow down access to Netflix, for example.
One website doing shitty things is just shitty. Twitter is not a ISP. If you don’t want to sit through their setTimeout(), go to the destination directly.
Net neutrality has never been about forcing content platforms to accommodate their competitors.
When the FBI seized several of his cell phones in April 2021 in a now-closed investigation, much of Giuliani’s electronic records were held on a database operated by a company called Trustpoint.One. But they were archived, and running searches on files the company held for more recent litigation isn’t cheap. Even hosting his records with the company costs $20,000 a month, according to a recent court filing.
No sympathy at all to the drunk fool, but why is it so expensive?
The price is set at what the market will bear, and they’re a “Cadillac” service (e.g. aimed at high-income, white-glove-style clientele) per their “About Us” page
And your manager freaks out when one of them calls and demands anything. I used to work in a vaguely similar support role, though probably with fewer zeros attached.
This is literally what they wanted, of course it’s worth it.
They think they haven’t gone far enough yet, not that the price to pay is too high. Not like they’re paying the price themselves, and they’re incapable of feeling empathy for people like this girl who are affected by their psychopathic legislation. If they themselves or anyone in their immediate family needs an abortion, they’ll go get one somewhere else because they’re good people and they have a good reason for it, unlike all those woke socialist Nazi sluts
He was never ‘America’s Mayor’ though. He sucked. His biggest accomplishment was getting the porn stores that were closing down anyway out of Times Square. So it turned into an overpriced outdoor shopping mall instead. Thanks, Rudy.
Rudy, as wrong as it feels to say about 9/11, benefitted from being in the right place at the right time. His decisions as mayor (including locating the emergency command center in the WTC complex against recommendations and going with first responder radio equipment that was inadequate to the task) resulted in 9/11 being worse than it could have been.
It was decided that, at the time, America needed to see heroes. Rudy and W were the obvious candidates. Investigatory pieces were seen as tasteless if not actually harmful, and Rudy was able to go on cruise control with “a noun, a verb, and 9/11.” He got a lot of mileage out of an incident where his incompetence made things dramatically worse.
And I’m not even addressing the Disney version of NYC. The scariest thing people are facing in Times Square now is a Russian-accented Elmo that’s overly aggressive to tourists.
Getting the death sentence would be difficult on a former president.
Add in his cultists, who seem to have a boner for vigilante “justice,” and I could absolutely see, from my vantage point in the south, red necks turning to violence over the death of their cult leader.
Personally I’d rather see them rot in a cell, deprived of all they relish. No more big macs for Trump. No binging fox. No more yes men kissing his diaper laden ass.
