After Wagner PMC tried they small coup, Putin or whoever it was, ordered them to be stationed in Belarus, and many of these mercenary troops are actually quite close to Poland’s borders. This and the fact Russia is moving part of its nuclear arsenal to Belarus triggered Poland into moving massive numbers of military assets to its borders recently.

Call your representatives, donate time and/or money to political campaigns and organizations you belive in, find out ways to get involved. Some person or organization out there right now is probably trying to achieve something you think would make this place better to live. Stand with them. The presidential system is incompatible with the state of American education. Most people believe the president has lots of power when he really doesn't. There really needs to an education campaign letting people know Congress is invested with the power of creating laws.

This is just completely disgusting. When everyone failed her the law wasn’t even on her side. Say what you want about abortions in general, but the audacity that people have to make getting abortions under rape or complications political is just disgusting. My heart truly goes out to this little girl, and her family, but especially the little girl. I can’t imagine the amount of life altering trauma she has gone through, and how this is going to affect her for the rest of her life. This shouldn’t happen to anyone. What the fuck is wrong with people.

It never ceases to baffle me the amount of gender-based double standards or shitty sexist society has. If a guy did this we would get a life sentence (likely without parole). And a death sentence in a death penalty state. But, because the person that did this is female, she doesn’t get a life sentence or death penalty, she gets the luxury of getting to walk out of prison after a time of serving a sentence (just to be clear. I don’t think any prison time is ever justified or ethical. But that’s not the point. The point is to call out our misandrist society. I hope one day Equality might actually be a thing, thought it will likely be long after my lifetime.
