This is a recent issue, and I don’t know what has changed to cause it. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which games work and which ones don’t. My monitor’s resolution is set to 2560 x 1440 in the display settings, but some games don’t recognize it....

I have been using Linux to game now mostly for around 1-2 months and halo infinite runs but runs like crap compared to win 11. When I run the game on windows I get 144 fps almost constantly on Linux I get 70-80. I am new to this and not sure what to tweak or change to get it to run better if anything. As the title says, I am looking to install both the package version (on OpenSuse Tumbleweed) and Flatpak version. I’ve been running the package version for awhile and it’s been fine but I want to play with the Flatpak version to see how that compares - partially because I may eventually go for an immutable distro....

Based on quake engine, now it has all the bells and whistles of modern graphics.

The only issues I’ve had were audio related, first the soundcard wouldn’t work and I switched to a USB mixer, but after waking the computer this morning the USB mixer won’t work and now I have to use the magically working built in sound card. What’s that about?...
