As the title says, I am looking to install both the package version (on OpenSuse Tumbleweed) and Flatpak version. I’ve been running the package version for awhile and it’s been fine but I want to play with the Flatpak version to see how that compares - partially because I may eventually go for an immutable distro....

I was trying to play the epic games store version of GTA V with Heroic Games Launcher, but after a launcher update today, when i try to launch it, it fails with the error “The rockstar games services are unavailable and offline play could not be verified (code 134)” (at the moment of posting this, the rockstar web services...
I think this is really the way going forward with portable gaming....
A request that was asked since these games apparently run better on Windows. Vermintide 2 is about 20% faster on Linux and Doom Eternal about 20% faster on Windows.

I’ve been running Manjaro for a a few years now and don’t have very many gripes with the os opposed to some people that seem to hate it. The one major problem I have been battling is the random GPU resets under load for my 5600xt. Usually it’s when I’m playing semi intense games but sometimes just while watching YouTube....

I was just reminded of how useful this was for me, since i was too lazy to setup fan curves in the cli with pwmconfig. This took me 10 minutes of tinkering and my temps went down a lot under load on my gpu and the machine is a lot more silent when idling.
