Fascism is notoriously difficult to define. There’s a huge amount of contention on it among historians, but one definition I like is Rodger Griffin’s. In his definition the core ideology of fascism is
(i) the rebirth myth
(ii) populist ultra-nationalism
(iii) the myth of decadence
I think the MAGA movement pretty transparently meets all 3. The rebirth myth is literally in its name, the movement is pretty openly populist and ultra-nationalist, and decadence is how they describe their enemies (e.g. their rhetoric around trans and queer folk).
So we need countless news articles about senile presidents, past and present. And how it sucks to live in the US. OP is right, US is a loud minority acting like everything is about them and nothing else.
Make your own god damn social media then. Christs sake you guys act like the services you’re using aren’t U.S. based, then whine when they very much are and have a majority of U.S. users.
You are now on doxbin. You will need to get a court order from your servers host country to remove from all 4 mirrors. Enjoy your country’s bureaucracy while facing the consequences of your actions!
Lol i can’t wait till our tow behind leaf sweeper starts slingin’ soggy logs into the hopper. I’m gonna get it all hooked up and let my wife drive the tractor.
Well, we’ll all see what if anything is beyond death. Always found it neat that one of life’s greatest mysteries will be uncovered to each and every one of us. It also means there’s zero reason to rush. We’ll get there eventually.
Our universe has a funky property where what’s unobservable can be more than one thing at once, and as of a few years ago it was discovered that separated eventual observers of something in that state can each measure conflicting results.
So the journey that each of us have past the grave may well be uniquely our own.
I like to think we move up a dimension. Maybe we already came from lower dimensions, but it’s hard to imagine existing in physical space with less than these 3. Maybe next go-around we get to observe things just as easily in the 4th as we do now in the 3rd.
I’ve been asleep since January 1, 2013. The world has basically turned into a hellhole since that day, but apparently only I got to experience the hellscape since then (some people never felt it until Covid came or something).
Nah, gotta be at least 2017 when Trump actually won.
But 2013 was at least half good for me. I got my cat in the middle of that year and he’s great. I’m not tryna actually diagnose myself, but I feel like I had something like a depressive episode for a couple years around 2015 because of work issues and that cat just helped me out. I will never know what that really was, but that’s the closest vocabulary I have to guesstimate it with.
For those with actual diagnosed depression, I probably don’t know what that is like, but I feel like I can at least understand it.
I’m past all that now, it only lasted a couple years. But that cat was definitely there for me. Still is. I love that bastard.
