That is the first rock to be picked up, carried for a year, and deposited elsewhere on the same not-Earth planet, by humans via the rover. That rock would never have ended up where it did were it not for chance human intervention.
Rock moving has been a part of our existential comfort/answer/justification for so long that now we are even having a joy out of it when we can do it on another planet.
If it makes you feel better, I wish I were dead too 👍 This world would be better off without some people, some people would be better off without this world 🤷
In context, it’s a joke about how Elon removed protections against misinformation, not about wishing death on him. The joke only works if you know he’s alive.
Elon Musk wants people like me dead. They cannot be convinced otherwise and be giving them the time of day to try convince them not to kill me is, genuinely, a waste of time. They have made up their mind and believe that I am irredeemable.
His ideology itself is a declaration of the will to kill people, this isn’t a case of “his opinion”, his ideology in itself declares people like me unworthy of a happy, healthy and full life.
Wishing harm upon people like these is an act of self defense, not an act of wanton cruelty.
That’s the whole point of the paradox. Tolerance requires being intolerant to those who are intolerant. If someone won’t be tolerant of gay people, you shouldn’t be tolerant of them.
To put it more simply, tolerance is a two way street. If you aren’t tolerant of someone, then you shouldn’t be surprised when they and their loved ones are intolerant of you. If you’re going to hate gay people, don’t expect gay people and those who support gay people to like you.
Despite getting three reports I won’t take action against Ulph. They don’t seem to be a troll. I don’t believe in removing proples comments just because they are morons
Both languges? Which languages? Are “testar” and “teste” English borrowings in those languages as well? I speak spanish, and I know “testear” is derived from “test”. Also, I was looking at the etymology of the word and it turns out it’s latin in origin. This is quite interesting : etymology of “test”
