How long have you had your current water bottle?
I’ve been using a reusable 36oz/1L plastic “flip lid” bottle from Bezos’s market - this is my third one (sadly replaced almost on a yearly basis) since I keep accidentally breaking the lids....

I’m wanting to block the lemmit.online bot due to all the spam it’s generating. But every time I try to go to their profile, the connection times out....
To be fair I still do these things but only when I’m alone....
Trying to de-google and looking for an alternative to Gmail....
I have an iPad 1. I barely used it when it was given to me and then it more or less sat unused apart from the occasional booting to see if it still works every few years....
For me, it’s sorting through clean laundry. It takes forever so music keeps me focused.

My house has a sliding glass door as the main entrance and I need a solution to have it secure from tiny hands. My problem is it needs to be able to unlock and lock on both sides of the door so a pin drop or cross bar won’t work.

Whenever I have to do a captcha where you must select all tiles with bicycles, I know I can just click through super fast, but I feel like that might make the website suspicious, so I purposefully slow down like “Geez, this is a melon-scratcher!” or click and then unclick a tile like “whoops, silly me, thats an umbrella...
I’m looking for an interface like libreedit, but for lemmy. So that I can follow specific communities from lemmy.ml, or some other instances, but without having to login to them, and locally through cookies or something like that…
So many posts and comments end up with just a few downvotes, compared at least to the number of upvotes. The only time downvotes get relatively large is when there’s a contentious issue or outright bad behaviour. Otherwise, there’s very often just a few downvotes....
I know every one hates reddit I know. I guess I’m looking for unbiased type of answers. Anyway, how do you think lemmy is doing so far?

I feel like I give help easily but I don’t feel ok asking. How do you become ok with asking for help? I have no idea what conversations that include this even sound like. In my mind I come across as begging and losing connection with the person or people I ask. How can I think about this differently?...
And while we’re at it, what’s your opinion of pancakes and French toast?
