Good God please use xlookup. We have some old school people that still use vlookup and refuse to convert their ranges to tables, it drives me crazy.
I still use index/match for multiple lookup returns (or is it sumifs I can’t remember?) But I do a lot of work in BI and it’s much more intuitive for me in DAX/M.
Everyone has blood, the bigger issue is the vampires. Do you think big engine will be happy with wild sourced vampires or do you think they will start farm raising them? Because capitalism will require an infinite growth of vampires.
Phones have definitely not gotten rid of mind shattering, other-worldly dumps that take all your concentration and make you take your shirt off after eating a big, greasy and/or spicy meal.
Can confirm. I’ve been stopped up the last couple days and gave birth to a football this morning. No time for phones, just visceral panic and pleading to the almighty
I don’t enjoy it, but unfortunately I’m on a medication that makes it necessary sometimes, and I do the olive oil trick too. Sometimes you just have to get it out from below.
But it’s not random. Not fair. Not balanced. Entire civilizations of gut bacteria wiped out! To them it was like he wiped out entire planets instead of life forms!
I mean Thanos stick was that it was random and dispassionate, and thus morally not biased towards specific values or ideals. Well except for the individual gut bacteria.
but how do the forces behind the infinity stones determine who gets dusted? In some places is was all except one person in a large group of people dusted and only sometimes was it half of the population of an area.
That means that part of what was dusted away must’ve been micro-organisms like bacteria in people’s guts.
It’s been tough switching from managing data and processes to managing people. But I make a LOT more money. It’s also nice not having to watch someone else make poor decisions all the time, but I guess now everyone else is now watching me make the poor decisions! 🤦♂️
Great. More responsibility and being the scapegoat for everything bad coming from the ones under you.
I’d need 150% of my salary to start thinking about doing that.
Yeah… I feel like I contributed so much more before but managing people, but this is where the money is sadly. I went from supply chain/purchasing/logistics manager to operations manager. I used to be a one man team and single handedly saved maybe $200k this year so far, and took our aged inventory from about $1M to basically nothing, all of our KPIs are primo. This is a company that pulls $10M/yr in revenue… small company.
I got rewarded with spending half my time babysitting the warehouse team, getting reamed by my boss when they’re not getting through things fast enough, and fixing their mistakes and bandaiding bad processes. But I got a 30% raise so I guess it’s worth it? I could be doing so much more.
It doesn’t necessarily matter that you make poor decisions. That’s all of us. At some point. It matters that you take ownership of it and don’t pawn it off on somebody else. And, that you make things right when necessary. Competence is important but integrity is way more important.
Worldwide, Mario is more recognizable than the mouse. Nintendo is going to start their own movie studio soon. They are copying the blueprint set out by Disney.
