Pretty much this. Google’s captchas some years ago were all about pointing out road related things, like semaphores, other cars, buses, etc, because self driving AI was just around the corner.
hCaptcha, the one in this image, is literally using us to train/refine art prompts. I’ve had a number that asked me to choose the pictures that showed a “whatever”, with the 9 images for clicking being obviously AI genned. Sometimes, it accepts 2 rights and 1 wrong.
Right? The captchas are getting ridiculous to the point that solving them means you’re not human. Because human would get fed up with this shit and leave
I wish we could really press the main point here: Google is willfully foisting their LLM on the public, and presenting it as a useful tool. It is not, which makes them guilty of neglicence and fraud.

I mean that even if phones are powerful, one can’t run PC games on them unless they get Proton on it somehow, which might require the things I mentioned.
Wine through Box64 is something you can already do on top of Android, either directly through Termux or something like Winlator. Lots of incompatibilities though… even installing Steam is only barely possible through hacks.
DRM-free Windows games, but mostly older titles since the performance overhead is pretty large. Something like Fallout 3 or Oblivion will run at playable frame rates.

Also, solar flare activity cycles every 11 years or so. The recent auroras were caused by ejected solar matter interacting with Earth's magnetic field, but that doesn't require or imply that a large polar shift or pole reversal is happening.

What's the real downside of the poles switching? We have GPS so in most cases it's not like we were using a compass anyway. Plus once they've fully switched it's basically back to normal, just backwards.
