What I did say was that the US government is angling to steal China’s propaganda apparatus to use for itself and pretending that it’s protecting us.
the point is that they’re trying to pretend they’re protecting us from propaganda by seizing the propaganda platform and operating it themselves. you don’t trust the CCP and neither do I. Let’s take that as read. do you trust the US government? if this is dangerous, why not shut it down? hell, why not go a step further and make it illegal for anyone to do?

“Ethnonationalism is awesome” and “equality is a good and achievable goal” are not remotely equal in terms of how obnoxious it is, unless you legitimately sit in between those two.
Such men don’t exist. If they consistently think they’re a woman, then they are a woman. At least in terms of gender, and asking about one’s gender (or pronouns) is preferred to biological/legal sex.
Honestly, I was one of those people. Eventually, I realized I wasn’t happy because the algorithm found that I responded to a specific narrative and would not stop showing it to me no matter how hard I tried to remove it from my feed. I don’t like the person I become when I think that way, and the algorithm does not care. I had to just uninstall TikTok to be free of that toxic mindset.
Btw the mindset is incel-flavored misogyny. TikTok nearly re-radicalized me in the worst possible way.

You can LUKS on a disk image mounted over SSHFS that itself resides on a Ceph cluster and mounted over iSCSI for all it cares. Is it a block device? Yes? Good to go.
I remember years ago investigating alternatives to VMware vSAN and doing hyperconverged storage clusters in Red Hat with glusterFS in top of a couple of other layers. Feels rickety as heck putting it all together but it works well. Hard sell for “normal” people who expect to hit a Next button and get some pretty graphical chart though.

Kneeling for religions doesn’t make any sens. Religions always has a purpose for it’s symbolism and rites, you kneel for a reason. Here it’s for the dead.
The argument was made that the kneeling was for a fallen soldier. I don’t think that interpretation is correct. You, too, seem to agree that that’s not the only reason to kneel for the cross.
Edit: Upon a bit more reflection, this particular graphic for this saying could mean a dead soldier since it’s a soldier praying. And crosses are sometimes used for soldiers’ grave markers. But not always. And you can find soldiers praying in front of other crosses. And soldiers don’t pray only for the dead when kneeling before a cross. I’d have to ask the artist her intentions.
What would be another reason? What i’m saying is religion isn’t a reason, honoring the deads is.

Edit : Yes in this particular case it’s a soldier on the grave of its brother in arms who died at war. Not sure who the artist is but the meaning is pretty clear, stand for America and honor the soldiers that fought for it in war.
