I haven’t really posted a lot to r/selfhosted (or Reddit in general), but whenever I did, there was always someone who voted my post down in less than 30 minutes after it was posted. Maybe because of this (or maybe because they were actually perceived as low quality posts), these posts never received a lot of engagement with...

I want an app that only shows me the last line written or that hides words after a few moments of being written....

Every time I see a video on other platforms, I may share this on Lemmy. Or every time I get creative to shoot a footage or create a video, I may share too. But, I reached conscientious about the availability and capacity of Lemmy instance(servers) to multimedias and videos, whether uploaded or embedded....

I have had Google as an app disabled for the past 2 months. I don’t use google assistant or anything like that and I have had no issues. I’m not going to uninstall the play store, google play services or carrier services since I know those are pretty much integral to my phone....

Everyone here is talking about how to get the latest and best stuff, but no one is talking about how they actually manage it 😜...

I can’t seem to find anything in a sidebar or sticky thread that talks about the moderation / rules of the news community. I’m very interested in coming to this community to learn about news, but right now it seems whats being posted tends to be relatively low (lower?) quality....
