Does the end user really prefer apps over a web interfaces? Do native apps bring some security benefits? So I’ve been using Linux now for a while, and am looking to migrate my dev environment to vim and spend more time in the command line. I’m fairly comfortable with bash but by no means an expert. I’ve used zsh with some minor customization but just recently learned about fish. I’d love to hear people’s opinions.
I saw there was a thread about ad blocking on android but I was wondering the best methods for ad blocking that cover the entire phone if possible like in app ads and such as well.
For example, anyone could use Let’s Encrypt to get a trusted certificate, so what makes this trustworthy? Or why not trust everyone that signs their own certificates with a program like OpenSSL?
Is this one of those communities that assumed people knew what it was because there was a subreddit of it before? O:
