Kodi is a foss mediacenter app with an addon system (plugins, apps, whatever you call it). You can use libreELEC to put it on a raspberry pi and have a pretty great appletv/firestick alternative.
If I’m fingering my fries, I favor a basket or plate. Just much better for fingering fries.
If I’m forking them, it would be bowl overall, but with plate being an acceptable forking surface. See, when you fork in a bowl, you don’t get fries flying everywhere the way it sometimes happens with extra crispy fries on a plate.
A bowl is also superior if you’re going to spurt some juicy stuff on your fries. Also superior for solid toppings, particularly if you vigorously shake it all together and will be forking with enthusiasm.
However, if you’ll be just putting the tip into the juicy stuff, a plate is better for forking or fingering, as you can go as slow or fast as you like without things spraying everywhere.
Pizza, any Asian food, occasionally eggs although I prefer vinegar based stuff like Tapatio generally for that… sriracha is a very versatile sauce. It’s not overly hot and just has that famous sriracha tang to it.
Lately I’ve been purchasing Firebarns brand as Huy Fung has been a bit more difficult to find around these parts and frankly some of their business practices have been questionable, with them not paying pepper suppliers and were sued and lost to that effect. Firebarns is quite good though, perhaps not quite as thick as Huy Fong, but that’s a matter of preference.
Well here its actually cheaper to buy it. I do make it when I want to have control over my flavors but normally why put effort into smth you can buy cheaper and is shelf stable anyways
Haven’t had this in a while, but Sal’s Sassy Sauce (NY chicken chain) is like a mustard based sweet and sour sauce. With the love mustard has been getting on these condiment threads, some of you may be interested.
Here’s the closest recipe I can find to the one I’ve used, though my recipe has yellow mustard instead of Dijon. I feel yellow mustard is most like the original. I don’t think it would get the right color with Dijon.
This recipe is fairly large, but the amounts look like they should 1/4 easily. I made the whole thing and put it in a squeeze ketchup bottle.
Try it on anything you’d like a sweet or honey mustard on.
One recommendation is a food tracking app. Personally I use MacroFactor, which gives custom calorie intake recommendations based on how fast/slow you’re losing/gaining weight.
This is great as it allows you to select a slow, healthy, sustainable weight loss speed and the calories are simply adjusted to match that (weighing in regularly will be necessary)
