This is going very well it seems! I see the next few countries close to passing the threshold are:
Denmark (88%)
Netherlands (87%)
Germany (75%)
Assuming we get those, we would need one more country. The highest remaining country is Ireland (55%). Getting all those still wouldn’t reach 1M signatures, but the rest could keep being distributed across the EU (even including countries which have already passed the threshold, I’m assuming).
This is all very exciting and gives me a lot of hope! Keep signing folks!
So a couple of months ago, I saw a bus with a sign that said “fisk og porno” which roughly translates to fish and porn. Turns out there’s a fish market in Norway with that name that does other things after closing hours…
My wife and one of my kids is a lefty. I’ve kinda grown used to half looking out for it in others but only idly. It was fun watching each of the kids to see if any of them would be.
A friend of mine dropped an absolute bomb one day that I’ll never forget: “There’s only right handed and wrong handed”. Definitely more than 20 years ago now but I never forgot it because I laughed so hard.
I’ve tried that but it’s hard to follow the install. Like when it installs and I press the green open button, it just doesn’t work, and doesn’t behave like I would expect it too. E.g. click open it doesn’t work, or no desktop icon is created, and it doesn’t show up in the app drawer, evening making in into an executable in the properties doesn’t work sometimes. (I would expect it to act like an .exe or flatpak.) I’ll try to get it working again rn.
Odd. Can you share which application is it that you are trying to install. Maybe it doesn’t create a desktop file hence the lack of an launcher in the app drawer¿?
I was literally coming to the comments to say something similar. He’s the “You’re Fired!” guy how could anyone be surprised by this? He criticized the Biden administration for not firing people…
Welcome to the club! I did the same thing earlier this year, although I ended up moving from Mint to openSUSE Tumbleweed after a couple weeks due to needing support for some bleeding edge hardware.
Thanks to Steam / Proton it’s been relatively painless!
