Guess I’ll have to find a way to get my script to automate that somehow. My goal is to get it back to where the only thing I have to do to download a video is paste the url in a lan webpage on my local server.
I don’t remember the format codes but they are generally pretty stable across a given host like youtube. The trouble is that not every video has all of the formats. You might have to just find the nearest one and convert with ffmpeg.
To elaborate a little on this, if the format you want doesn’t have audio you may have to combine two formats. -F lists the formats, -f to choose them. As an example you can choose to combine an audio and video format like this: yt-dlp -f 136+140 [URL]
Idk, but this last nvidia update broke things for me. Changing my display with ARandR wouldn’t work, I’d get a black screen with a mouse cursor and it would never recover, and the display driver would crash when waking the computer from sleep. I ended up reverting to the 470 drivers and that fixed it for me.
When you say last nvidia update, when was that? I had some updates few days ago and everything went smooth, but today things went south. Is there any way I can confirm Im having gpu driver issue or kernel issue or both?
Yes, 3-4 times temporary or permanent bans. Posted an opinion, some mod did not like it, and that was that…
Solved it by creating new accounts. I am quite used to pseudonyms. I never show real names etc. On reddit I did not use the website, only third party apps. And when switching accounts I also switched to another app. After the first ban, I prepared my next accounts long before I needed them.
