I could see the voice actor learning a sentence or two but on occasion the bit goes on for a couple minutes. I feel like with a cartoon it wouldn’t be that hard to find a stand in who sounds close enough or use whoever does the dubbing for that language.
As per title. I very, very rarely drink, and I generally just want to buy a single of something for a rare treat, however most beers/ciders/etc are sold in multipacks....
The trackers I’m in are very heavily movie/tv focused. Aside from RED, is there another good tracker (that’s relatively easy to get in to and survive) that has a lot of older music in it?
Found this very useful Youtube video about How do Magnets & Magnetic Fields Work? and within it I finally found someone willing to explain greater details about how same poles repel in laymen terms. The link above takes you to the section where the Presenter explains how (as I understand him) potential energy forms between the...
The idea is to come up with goofy million dollar ideas that you thought of in the shower, while going to bed, or during a fever dream that would get you laughed off of Shark Tank....
Just wondering because I hear a lot of non-native speakers say things like “bend” instead of “band” and I find it a bit puzzling since native speakers don’t say it that way (except in New Zealand and maybe London I suppose? Not sure) and many languages have the usual A-sound that I and many others use...
I’m looking for a service I could install to archive a huge pile of letters, preferably in PDF form, to a database. I’m living in a country where paper is still king, and digital services are either non-existent, or loathed (Germany). My current situation is that I have a mailbox with lots of PDFs all over the place, but...
I only tried a tiling WM for a few days several years ago. I am ok using the terminal but not everything can be done easily there. In the screenshots of people setups, there are always fancy terminals. Are tiling WM good also for other GUI a part from terminals?
my gmail account is full, most of the space is emails. I tried to download them through “takeout” and it has an option that says hey let’s split this up into 2GB chunks. And you select that and it sends you one 12GB .mbox file regardless. The 12GB download keeps failing and now it says you’ve already downloaded these...
I know we can’t do this with any copyrighted materials. But a lot of books, music, art, knowledge is in the creative commons. Is it possible to create one massive torrent that includes all that can be legally included and then have people only download what they actually want to enjoy?
I just found the gnome-translate-indicator which is great! I click on the button in the top panel and then I can lookup any word. It’s only one way but that’s not a big problem for me as I rarely translate to English, mostly from....
I know this is old news for most of us, but it’s something I had just forgotten to get around too. Filtered out Elon musk and X posts. I don’t care about any of it, and tired of seeing every seemingly 5th posts being about it....
i deleted an app and chose to keep its data saved, then i installed a newer apk. it asks me if i want to ‘update’ rhe app, not ‘install’ it. i select to update an app that isnt even installed and it then says it cant due to ‘App not installed as package conflicts with an existing package.’ so to re-cap, i saved the...
I guess it’s not “technically” new, it’s just been sitting there empty for 6 months, so I’m waving my hands over it like the Charlie Brown kids over their Christmas tree:...
I realize I may be out of luck here, because Twitter/X seems to have locked out third-party apps real good. Still, my line of work still has many folks on Twitter/X, which makes it difficult for me to fully switch over to Mastodon, and I would love a client that could ease the pains that this social media limbo currently imposes...
The aim is to have a qbittorrent setup combined with a service like plex (or jellyfin?) to easily stream music, movies and TV shows to my mobile devices....
