To be fair, the plague in Hebrew (Egyptian?) is צפרדע /tz’fardei’ah, which looks like a singular and not a plural. I totally see where he’s coming from. But also, I thought it was in Midrash Tanchuma.
Unfortunately, Hades was actually needed several times before Gaia managed a biosphere that could support human life.
We could eat the rich tho? Stop that there Starship Odyssey from becoming a squandered opportunity wasted on the elite that comes back to bite humanity as a species in the ass.
I know I’m in the minority here, but this is one of my least favorite episodes (be gentle). I thought the events were moving too fast and they had a quota to fit a certain amount of jokes per scene.
This is of course a cartoon and so I don’t expect every character’s reaction to make sense, but a lot of the decision-making was so silly even for Futurama. Leela’s decision to make episodes of that show indefinitely was so stupid that it felt like another character should have been the one making driving that decision. Bender is a character I could see coming up with that plan, but Leela should be better than that.
Almost all 32x8 (capable of 1 gig) docsis 3 modems are going to be puma based.
No reason not to get docsis 3.1 unless you are truly cash strapped. That leaves the SB8200 if you’re ok with 1Gbe ports, or the S33 if you want a 2.5 port.
Why would you voluntarily create a job scarcity in your own population? Immigration reduces wages, increases prices, strains public services and causes overall decrease in Quality of Life.
Just look at the state of the USA with 28% immigrant population.
Just look at the state of the USA with 28% immigrant population.
Which STILL has the 6th highest GDP per capita (10th if you count tax-haven microstates and overseas territories).
Centuries of mass immigration built the US economy. Y’all are acting like economics is all zero-sum and more people = everyone is poorer, but the amount of jobs doesn’t stay constant as the amount of people increases. The US always had an influx of immigrants to fuel the ever-growing economic machine.
There’s plenty of reasons why a lot of people in the US can’t afford to live in cities, etc. None of it is because of immigration, it’s mostly corporate greed and stupid zoning laws.
