I tried a torrent of photoshop 25 beta but it wouldn’t installed. I also did some looking up and heard that it currently doesn’t work on torrented copies on macOS, only on Windows and with GenP.

I think this is one of the best ways to make the Fediverse mature....

I torrent (on the same PC that I run a Plex server from), but also auto connect on my devices whenever I’m on public wifi, so speed and avoiding blocks/captchas is also important. From what I understand having port forwarding will make a big difference in my torrent transfer speeds and ability to connect to peers....

My Android tablet recently updated and now the layout has all changed. The pull down menus are only squashed to the right with a smaller font. Also when starting the tablet the screen for entering the pin number is much smaller. Is there a way to fix?

Does anyone have any experience with doing this? It’s not for myself, but for someone who isn’t tech inclined. I want to set him up with FOSS to avoid future shitification by azn. I know I need to strip drm, and then convert out of amz formats, but really have no idea how to do this. Any help would be appreciated! -j

I have an old Synology 1819 NAS that was the unfortunate victim of the Intel Atom/Clock bug. I would like to repurpose the case as I like the compact form factor. Has anyone tried replacing a synology mobo with something else (ex: an ITX board or a Raspberry Pi), and using an alternative operating system?

For a while now I have been wanting to play old episodes of TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT in the background in Spanish during the day to passively brush up on my Spanish....
