Heyas, wondering if there’s an open sourced piece of software or the like, that could scrape media platforms for a specific topic. Platforms like YT, X, Lemmy, News Media, etc., perhaps using RSS? But, a program I can host on my server, that only I have access too, via webpage, CLI, whatever…...
It’s been more than 2 years since I started to mainly use GNU/Linux sistems as my daily Os, so I want to share a little of the journey with the community, the ups and downs, the experiences I went through, and all of that stuff so let’s just start...
I could see the voice actor learning a sentence or two but on occasion the bit goes on for a couple minutes. I feel like with a cartoon it wouldn’t be that hard to find a stand in who sounds close enough or use whoever does the dubbing for that language.
My college roommate had this little box that had 2 controllers and RCA’d into the TV that contained basically every game from the most important retro consoles. All the important consoles and games pre y2k. Including Nintendo, Atari, Sega, and maybe some arcade. I assume I can’t get it through normal channels because of some...
If you’re wondering why it has been looking quiet here, we stumbled upon an issue that caused lemdro.id to stop federating out its community content....
I have been making the occasional coworker a cup of aeropressed coffee with good reviews thus far. Being that it is shift work, most of my coworkers are used to drinking the reduced syrup of a pot that’s been left on the burner too long (one coworker thanked me for leaving it for her!). Many don’t even know coffee doesn’t...
I am sure I am just missing something simple… I have prowlarr -> sonarr/radarr -> qbittorrent -> jellyfin I created three directories. /jelly/video /sonarr /radarr. I configured sonarr and radar to use their respective directories. And I configured qbittorrent to use /jelly/video as the default download dir....
We are taking the jacket off a couple times a week to let the skin air out and so that she can clean herself naturally, but this one spot is horrendous. There is some hydrocortisone on the area, and she was licking herself as I was snappjng these....
I have several TB of borg backups. Uploaded them on backblaze b2. I could immediately see how much resources i was using, how many api calls, and so on. Very easy to see and predict the next bill. I can see exactly which bucket uses more resource, and which is growing over time....
I mean, I could understand if they used natural gas as fuel for vehicles (which I know they don’t), but they only use it in households. It makes no sense 🤷.
I moved over to Wayland full time a couple of weeks ago (using KDE on Arch). I have finally rid myself of any X11 hangups apart from one. Latte will NOT respect my primary screen when changing monitor arrangement (ie. turning my projector on and off) and seems to randomly pick a screen to call the primary....
I’m going to be running a Jellyfin server, and I don’t want to maintain it a lot, I just want it to work. Would using Docker be the easier way to maintain Jellyfin, or would using Podman be better? (I don’t want to deal with SELinux, firewalls, port forwarding, etc.)
While many great puzzle games have a fixed number of levels, I’d like to find more with procedurally-generated levels to maximize replay value. Aside from Minesweeper games, so far I’ve found the following ones:...
