No one really knows how things will play out but I was wondering if people are committed to Lemmy, or would the mod team migrate to greener pastures if a better, more functional alternative comes to the forefront....

as a reddit refugee i mostly use lemmy, but sometimes i go back by a lack of alternative to some subreddit, which one you feel there is a need ?...

I’ve tried installing cryptpad, but without success. I need if possible a more lightweight cryptpad alternative

Something I miss from Reddit was that just about all my favorite games had their own subreddits. Like I happen to be a huge fan of Snowrunner but I don’t see any communities specifically about Snowrunner on Lemmy. But Elden Ring has a community on 2 instances with less than 100 subs total. I think the one hosted on Lemmy.world...

Just updated to Gnucash 5.2 (via flatpak) and found I can’t save the account file anywhere. It appears to be an issue with 5.2. Solution: Turn off file compression in Gnucash (Edit/Preferences/General uncheck ‘Compress Files’)

The last 3 episodes I see as released on June 14, 21, and 28 (upcoming) so I assume that I should see streams for the first two - or is this normal?...
