Distributions like RHEL and Debian freeze packages, you will have to use old package when the newer is available. I think these distributions is just for highly mission-critical system, they have to run software smoothly, no breakage. Most personal computer don’t need that stability....

Why does it have to always hit me so randomly? Some nights I beg my brain to stay awake past 9 and then there’s nights like this where I’m wide awake for no reason

I’m not very good at telling when I need more sunlight, exercise, or even food. But I can tell when our pet needs things, and find it pretty motivating to take care of them (and hence myself).
