I finally did it and got an used RX 6950 XT to replace my GTX 1080 Ti. I’ve been using this card ever since I moved to Linux and now I’m wondering what exactly I have to do. On Windows it’s mostly run DDU and install the new AMD drivers, everything else will probably work the same with Afterburner etc....

My mother’s laptop has been running as fast as a turtle on a snail going uphill for a long time now. Everything has been done to it, including formatting it and installing another, less cumbersome OS, but nothing improves. I have an HHD available, I have done some tests and it does work....

i like collecting any available extras, featurettes, commentary tracks, etc with any movie or show in my library, but more often than not i have a pretty hard time finding them. i know they’re sometimes on youtube, but it’s very hit and miss, especially with newer movies; and as they’re often included in bluray, iso rips...
