It’s just a small pond (that I need to clean again). Not worth traveling for but it is nice to have around. It also has 13 goldfish living in it. You can see one in the picture below.

My SO went to that program and deals with lifelong trauma from that place. They’re constantly telling me about another person that went through the program with them that committed suicide. It’s really depressing.

runjun ,

It makes me want to mock the EU considering how much, deserved, shit the US gets. But this is just depressing. I would much prefer the US to be mocked as we get our shit, hopefully, together. Not fucking join us.

runjun ,

Ya, until you hear its scream In the middle of the night.

runjun ,

The family is out tonight. I kind of feel like ruining my night with this.

runjun ,

That would give apple a monopoly in the mobile space and Microsoft a monopoly in the search/business app space.

runjun ,

Thoughts from members who play modern multiplayer games? If this wasn’t Valve, this would immediately be dismissed by me.

runjun ,

All of this and repairability. Given enough time, I could repair everything on my car. Newer cars throw up as many barriers to that as possible.

runjun ,

It’s definitely a concern but Toyota Camry’s should fare pretty well on that front.

runjun ,

I’m not having another kid but if I did I would do my exact setup still. Audio to wake me up and video to see if a response is needed or if they need to cry it out.

runjun ,

Not even that, the iPhone SE is $430 and is the closest phone they’re claiming to want but then going for the top of the line phone instead.

runjun ,

Love the colors and motion of this pic!

runjun , (edited )

Edit: I was incorrect stating it’s still sold for $40.

They’re still selling this game for $40! Why can they not continue to support it?

runjun ,

Ah ya that makes sense, I know Nintendo is struggling. lol

runjun ,

Welp, looks like I looked too quickly and you’re correct. Google sucks ass now and never directly shows what you search.

runjun ,

Do you use this? I’ve been thinking that there has to an underground “internet” that mimics the old web. I was thinking that it would be BBS or something. I haven’t gone down any rabbit hole yet because lemmy has been scratching the itch alright.

runjun ,

Interesting, I’ll look into Gemini.

runjun ,

Glad to see this response. I was ready to come in here and throw hands if I saw anyone downplaying Harry.

runjun ,

Hate this shit. How you act in private is your real self.

runjun ,

I’ve found that Linux users will either bend over backwards trying to help or will call you an idiot for not knowing “basic” shit. Basic shit to them is something that is only known to 5000 people globally.

runjun ,

You know I didn’t know the US had a billion people. lol at least that’s what you’d think from all shit talkers online that all obese people are from the US.

runjun ,

Damn lmao

runjun ,

‘Do you have any idea why I pulled you over today?’

‘Well, I might have an idea.’

runjun ,

Genuinely a brilliant and moving game. Kim Kitsuragi is also my most loved character I’ve ever encountered in any media and it’s not even close.

runjun ,

There’s some decent arguments in here about how it is cheaper than it ever has been. But I can tell you that even though I make more money than I ever have in my life, I haven’t bought a brand new game in about 4 years because of how much it costs to just live now.

Go ahead and adjust games price to account for inflation, at least $90+, and see how many new games just flop. People will prioritize living over gaming. If suddenly people can only buy half as many games then you will see half the sales.

America tires of big telecom’s shit, driving boom in community-owned broadband networks (www.techdirt.com)

America tires of big telecom’s shit, driving boom in community-owned broadband networks::For decades, frustrated towns and cities all over the country have responded to telecom market failure by building their own fiber broadband networks. Data routinely shows that not only do these networks provide faster, better, and cheaper...

runjun ,

Some places have preemptively outlawed doing this.

runjun ,

I nearly have 2000 hours in rocket league. I’m not good and it’s one of the reasons I don’t play anymore lol

runjun ,

I was paying for a year at a pop. After the price hike, I was going to cancel entirely. It just happened to coincide with the shitty Disney/hulu ad price. Which got my kids off my back for not having it and it’s only like 36 bucks for the year. If I feel inclined to watch something on those two then I watch on desktop and ad block the ads.

runjun ,

That’s funny because it will “leak” at some point not far into the future.

runjun ,

I still think the tech or at least the idea of the tech to be really interesting. That said, I’ve basically written it off as a scam and bad for the environment at this point.

runjun ,

Proof of stake helps a lot and the community should continue to push for every coin to transistion.

runjun ,

Y’all organizing at a local and national level? I have major major issues with the current system but unless there’s clear actionable things to do now, then all this post does is discourage change and voting against actual fascists.

runjun ,

There’s still plenty of people doing that. But their uploads will be inconsistent when they upload and quality. The views will also be low so YouTube’s algorithm won’t recommend it unless they pay to advertise.

runjun ,

I do get sub 1000 view recommendations from YouTube but I don’t know if I would assume those creators haven’t paid any money. You can pay to push your videos to a small, very targeted, audience for fairly cheap.

runjun ,

Kimchi grilled cheese is really good. If you like kimchi at all, give it a shot.

One iImade a bit back

runjun ,

Anyone who is interested in a foldable. Check eBay or Swappa. I was really surprised to find them 2nd hand for like 600-800. Which is crazy considering how much they sell for new.

runjun ,

Oh damn 😞

A truly iconic voice performance that will remain in gaming history.

runjun OP ,

Also, I have to swap out the windshield wiper motor cause it jammed walnuts in there. And yes, I checked the fuses.

runjun OP ,

It was in my cars ventilation system. I don’t want to spray anything that can’t be vented inside. Unless you mean like underneath the car or something.

runjun OP ,

Yes, it jammed the linkage and I it seems to have burnt it out. Not inside the motor, I could have phrased that better.
