I mean I agree Fox News will pick apart anything that they get, that’s just the nature of the beast. But the whole discussion in the antiwork community was that whoever did the interview needed to be prepared for that and give them as little ammunition as possible, while presenting the beliefs of the antiwork/workreform movement.

Instead, one of the users (a mod I think?) took the interview without further input from the community, had dirty clothes in the background, and was an easy target for the Fox News crowd.

Idk, it was really unfortunate, and the movement had started to gain serious momentum. It could’ve been a lightning in a bottle opportunity, and they fucked it up

Lemmy needs better integration/federation. Too much content is hidden. A community on the biggest instance was not visible to me on another large instance.

I did a search from shitjustworks for “reddit die” and did not find lemmy.world/c/watchredditdie so I made sh.itjust.works/c/watchredditdie (unnecessarily). This should really not happen. When someone makes a community there should be a “ping” sent out to notify all other federated instances....

In my experience, on the whole, no. I’ve found being a submissive man actively repulses many women, some will entertain it but aren’t into it, and a very small minority enjoy being dominant- and a significant number of those charge for it.

Pro dommes wouldn’t be a thing if submissive men were more universally accepted.

There’s all kinds of reasons for this and there is no one size fits all answer. I speak only from my experience.

Okay here’s my fucking beef though- there are FOUR DIFFERENT VERSIONS of teams that can be installed, team classic personal and work, and the new teams, personal and work. If you install 2 of the four, the OS is incapable of differentiating between them. Opening meeting links on your calendar in teams for work will sometimes open it in teams personal(why does this even fucking exist??)

So at best you have to join as a guest, at worst you can’t join at all.

And they PREINSTALL the dogshit personal version on windows 11, which doesn’t even allow you to sign into a work account- it says account does not exist.

It varies wildly, but at the end of the day its about skills being rare and valuable. People with rare skills, who can prove they have those skills, and can consistently perform complex/difficult tasks and be reliable are what I would consider “top tier”

Asking for some specific defined standard is being pedantic. The standard is being capable of things that others are not, and that’s true across any industry. Each one will have its own measurements (certifications, work portfolios, references, etc.) by which those are defined.

Depending on the zoo, a lot function as very large animal shelters. My hometown has a really good zoo that’s run by a nonprofit organization, and they go to huge lengths to make sure the habitats for the animals fit their natural environments.

Most of the animals there have suffered injuries, or have some sort of defect or medical issue that prevents them being able to be released. Part of the property is also a wildlife reserve.
