Fact is that guns with silencers are still really loud with silencers, correct. Not like in the movies… with normal ammunition. In that case, the sonic boom is what you hear. But with subsonic ammunition and a slightly larger silencer it is really very quiet and can sound like in the video or in movies almost. It’s hard to find on youtube because very few people want to shoot with such weak cartridges + with a silencer additionally, but if you’re really interested you can find it. If I remember after work I can look for another demonstration and post it here. if you are interested.

It won’t. Normies just see their franchise like Assasins or any Tom Clancy’s and they buy. It does not matter to them what bullshit payment model it is. Look at Fifa games for example. Litearaly the same game year after year with the tiniest adjustments possible but they still break a sales record on a almost yearly basis.

What? That must be a bavaria/switzerland/austria thing. I never heard this. hearing quarter ten (Viertel zehn?) i’d assume 10:15 and most definitly not 09:15 0.o I’ll stay with quarter before ten for (viertel vor zehn) 09:45 and quarter after ten (viertel nach zehn) for 10:15.

What about chrome is useless? What makes chrome so useless that a normie would want it to change? In the end both let you browse the internet just fine. from work i use Firefox and at home i had chrome for years. I did not recognise any diffrenses except ram usage and it beeing a Google product. I changed to firefox at home a few months back so it is the same at work and at home. Can’t say it feels any snapier or whatever. For a normie Privacy is no reason to change. They don’t care. Ram, they probably don’t even know what that is. You have to search for new extensions in the mozilla store if the same one you used does not exist there. That is the reason firefox will not dominate Chrome in my opinion. For a normie there is absolutely no reason to change and normies are the majority of people. Some anecdotal story. At work i installed for some colleges Adblockers because the said some of the ads where anoying and after i did in the following months one after another wanted me to deactivate it again because they could not figure out to visit some websites. As i offered them to show them how they could get around it they just denied. “that is to complicated for me.” So yeah. Normies do not care and even worse adblock blockers work.

No, they most definitely should not! Implementing such a measure unnecessarily increases the difficulty for low-income families. Instead, there should be support for the installation or a tax reduction for those who have one. I don’t deny that. However, forcing people to change by making things more expensive only harms these families. Of course, the ongoing climate situation is concerning, but in the short term, we also need to take care of those who are financially vulnerable. We can’t just let them go under.

As far as i understand it it doesn’t even check your location. It checks the Language & Region in your initial Pc Setup steps. So you have to reset your pc to do that… Until someone figures an alternativ way without resetting your pc i guess.

That comparison is missing a bit. That fellow student is not just asking you. He asks everyone and sure enough there are some willing to say yes. That is the problem. There are still enough such people so its worth for them. They don’t care about the no sayers. Who cares if you are anoyed if the next five people say yes? So no. They will never back off. Only when the numbers turn red. And then they probably will find an even worse system instead of improving.

Because all those CEOs will never think further than the next ten minutes. In short term that means only less money for them since for any extra unit of money they give to their worker it is not garantied they buy something from the own company. They only ever see what money they don’t get right now, and not what they could get potentially in long term.

No I think that’s correct. Comparing it to Discord is a bit of a stretch. Just the UI is similar to Dirscord with the rooms and Spaces. Function wise it’s an alternative to Telegram or Whatsapp. Most of the most used functions (at least for me) are not present in any Matrix client.

So the EU goes hard on those companies and then what? the just transfer to another countrie that doesn’t. Result would be the same polution but throught customs and transportation prices in the EU would rise. Maybe the consumption behavior will change through that what could be beneficial but the overall situation with current inflation and such would get much worse. I’m not sure if this is the best way to engage this problem.
