500 miles on Amtrak east coast can take about 10 hours! I’m doing it again in a few weeks. That’s just so dumb slow embarrassing.

JulesTheModest ,

This sounds like what auto companies do to avoid tariffs!

JulesTheModest ,

This is why I mostly play games from yesteryear. You start it up and play. No nonsense.

JulesTheModest ,

Yeah, it’s shocking to see how many ads they jam in now. I felt so dirty.

JulesTheModest OP ,

I tried Live a Live many years ago but barely. I think that’s a good suggestion.

JulesTheModest ,

Yes! That was my advice too. Most things work well, I’m using a 1060 and 4th generation i5 on a cheap 10+ yr old SSD.

Lutris really simplifies things too, I was able to easily install Battle.net and the Epic store too through it.

JulesTheModest ,

That’s just a little less than traditional aggression.

JulesTheModest ,

I can see an “Arnold from Commando” kind of dude.

JulesTheModest ,

I seem to recall this from a Boston subway train (red line?). Can anyone confirm?

“I’m the body, this sucks grammy.”

What lunches do you eat on a weekly basis?

I’m looking for easy and cheap options for lunches on weekdays. I mostly eat deli sandwiches and hot dogs right now and I always feel like shit after eating them. I think I need something healthier but I don’t have time over my lunch hour to cook anything too fancy. What do you all do for reliable healthy easy lunches?

JulesTheModest ,

Try avocado and hummus sandwiches, nutritious and tasty.

JulesTheModest ,

Always felt dirty on Reddit. Corporate garbage.

JulesTheModest ,

I use it on my old Pixel 3a to play livestream bird feeders for one of my cats.

JulesTheModest ,

Oh yeah, it’s fine otherwise.

JulesTheModest ,

I listen to Public Enemy a lot in the car driving around the suburbs.

JulesTheModest ,

Sega Genesis/MegaDrive. So many fond memories playing sports games with my friends and beat-em-ups. I think the game collection is great too.

JulesTheModest ,

I bet Richard finished his workout way before Georgia.

JulesTheModest ,

Glad to hear it! Diablo II will rock your world next. I still play it occasionally and I get addicted for a few weeks.

JulesTheModest ,

Starcraft 2. Two friends and I have been going through a 3-player coop version of the single player campaigns. We just finished the first one, onto the expansions now. It has been pretty fun.

JulesTheModest ,

I’m the rare person that loves both Star Trek and musicals, so this was perfectfor me to see!

JulesTheModest ,

No One Lives Forever (and 2)

It’s also rare to have a female protagonist in an FPS.

What to play after experiencing Chrono Trigger?

Left feeling a bit empty after playing it for the first time a few months ago(why did I wait so long?) I am afraid no JRPG will be able to surpass it. Would love to have a discussion about similar games that reach the same quality level (Note: I have already played Final Fantasy VI ).

JulesTheModest ,

Chrono Cross (PS1). I’ve only played through it once but while very different and odd, I still had a good time. Despite being a sequel, it doesn’t feel similar.

JulesTheModest ,

And comes with free oil changes for life!

JulesTheModest ,

Magical and timeless film, I have to re-watch it about once a year. It’s a great comfort film.

JulesTheModest ,

It’s pretty startling now, imagine what thr reaction was on release!

Fred Asatire is my favorite actor, so funny to see him as a scientist.

JulesTheModest ,

A job offer. I work in software and it’s tough out there this summer.

Schisms is freaky indeed. I love that even in the 24th century humans are getting abducted.

How about “Frame of Mind” for another scary one?

    JulesTheModest ,

I’ve only been to Salzburg for a day, but it was really nice. Lots of history, most notably Mozart’s birthplace.

    JulesTheModest ,

I got Golden Grahams recently for the first time in decades and they didn’t taste great. Kids didn’t even want them.

    JulesTheModest ,

Watch out for the sleep deprivation spell, that one sucks.

    JulesTheModest ,

Without looking, something like ppl born before 1980 or so. I really hope so, the following Gen (mine) isn’t as hot as I’d like but hoping for the best.

    JulesTheModest ,

This looks like it’s from Carefree, “The Yam” song.
