Also, you said that you can only access your games, is this through the steam desktop client? In that case it has nothing to do with brave browser since it’s not running on the browser, unless I misunderstood something.

I don’t know about the new interface, but in the older interface it would be something like “settings > downloads > shader pre-caching” and under the “Allow background processing of Vulkan shaders” it would show the game name that was having it’s shaders being processed.

I know that there are other communities here at lemmy that post games that are free to keep forever during a limited time. I just don’t know which community to recommend since I don’t follow any, but a quick research can show you them if you are looking for that.

but what if the advertisement presents you something that you like and wouldn’t have found otherwise? I’ve had advertisements showing me indie games that I really liked.
