Usually if its a boolean or nullable, a good config file will have a # uncommemt this line to enable this feature/disable this feature/bind to this IP address/give this thing a name that is at least vaugely hints what the option does. But yes, its still fairly annoying.

usually, what I see is that the REPL they are using is never introspective enough. The ai cant on its own revert to a prevous state or give notes to itself because the response being fast and in linear time matters for a chatbot. ChatGPT can make really cool stuff when you ask it to break it’s thoght process into steps. Ones it usually fails spectacularly at. It was like pulling teeth to get it to actually do the steps and not just give the bad answer anyway.

Copyleft lisenses are anti-copywrite, copywrite lisenses. They guarantee any random person the right to use and (usually) modify and (usually) distribute the work (art, program, etc.) with some noteworthy terms and conditions. Open access is where they provide a good or service for free but are not legally required to do so.

I bitch about it not being open sourced like llama2.

I may not fully understand the situation, but AOSP offers an API called Accessability that allows an app to hook and modify how the user interacts with the UI. the best example is probably Talkback.

It looks like the screen is smeard in vasoline. To be fair, you have to be primed to notice or halucinate it. Did the AI decide the movements too, because that woman looks possesed, her eyes behave correctly but she moves her jaw wildly at the beginning of every sentence. she even twitches at one point.

Id do the same, but Im in a verry stupid situation, I dont have a reddit account and dont want to be advertising-group stalked due to being a sensitive subject.

plus it was already half taken over by ads because the sex industry is bad, some of the subs are just filled with “this is a thing you can buy, look how sexy!”. I dont want what your selling, the way your selling it.

on lemmy, the subreddit is dead, minus some guy trying to revive it. Like many others, its owner posted 5 posts, and… nobody kept the pace up. 🤕

Exactly, there is a silent rule tha men must look like this (edit: this is not as bad as the other site i found when googling it, thinking about get ting it cut, someone suggested it to me) to be “professional”. I hate everything about that look, I want my bangs to not be pushed up as to look like a hnock-off of steve jobs and/or the chad meme and/or genaric famous actor#173 and/or the “proper” men in 1960’s propaganda films.

Putting it into this style means not being authentic to be seen as “in the cool kids club” in the eyes of a hiring manager. Also, its cutting parts off, making it so getting the long flowy hair I want take longer.

I was given a website with some men’s hairstyles and… yeah… you can keep them! There is an invisible expectation that “all the cool kids chads wear their bangs up” this may be one of our society created invisible gender and/or male professionalism markers.

To wear somthing like that, being a “strong powerful man” makes me feel… domesticated. In the same way being a domesticated housewife must feel. (has it in the name)

I couldnt be happier to be proven wrong! I based too much weght on my earlier experience of mainstream feminism (as limited and inacurate it may be). Historical feminism, I havent seen much media where the additudes and beliefs arent revised by modern mainstream feminists so I give the benifit of the dought.

The fact that I deeply relate to the struggles depicted in The Incel to Trans Pipeline and Inside Mari(0:50:51 talks about her university library, ive included a transcription, please read it). as well as the idea that there is a thing called a TURF, and if your trans, its in your best interest to not make that known to them.

Being a closeted trans woman, seeing mainstream feminism and asking “how are they going to treat me? Will they accept me? Will they believe that I still stink of patriarchy? (and in practice deny transition is even possable)” It brings a lot of anger that I know is unjust to apply to a label as broad and fuzzy as “Feminism”.

I know for trans media, the mainstream warps what is allowed to be presented, same for Communism, (see, any communist political party in amarica, also Mccarthyism) I relized it was probable that the same is true for Feminism. But now I have conformation that my old working theory that the movement was dead wasnt forked when it was userped was wrong.

In a sense, all this stuff, the trans community, the feminist community (for lack of a better word) and orthers, and their resources are burried under knowing where to go, what to type in an what links to visit. (search “trans” on youtube and all you will get is slop)

Even with the amount of disphoria I was going through, I didnt have any such certanty. It was complicated by the feeling that I wasnt really trans. That I was tricking myself into trying to ligitimizing somthing that was just a fetish. I loved womans bodies, I knew I desired them, and also wanted to live as one but couldnt amagine myself within one. There is somthing so pleasimg about one, there was somthing so pleasing about the thoght, somthing so indulgent that it felt preverse. As I read more and more, I took in 2nd wave feminist ideology and began to internalize it. What if I was just a socially dissaffected male who’s desire to control woman was distorted inwardly? What if I was apropriating woman’s bodies by wanting to become one?

One interesting thing, a fingerprint is (from what i can tell) re-obtained because the fingerprint data is internal use only. The doctors, The government, the military and the jailers dont share this data with eachother. With DNA, it sounds like the doctors are giving your DNA at birth to the government, the military, the jailers, the advertisers, and your insurance company. These parties dont just know your child’s perminant identity AND their risk of medical problems or their biologicaly created mential shortcomings, now they know yours, your famialy’s and a little bit about unconcenting strangers.

Its like if 23andMe almost exclusively used its data to hold power over you.

This stops Windows 11 from blocking the installation and lets you get the app back onto your PC. We’re not sure if Microsoft has fixed this trick, but it’s worth a shot if you want to keep using your favorite apps.

Its a good practice to make the auto generated code a part of the .gitignore list. Any language installable on peoples machines can be used to build these makefiles. Ya know a language is on that list? Makefile!
