Idk why you guys are so obsessed about millionaires here. We aren’t some evil devils that you can put all the blame for your problems on. It’s just life some are wealthier some are poorer. It was like that since forever and it will be like this forever except in this system you also have a chance for success unlike feudalism where everything was 100% predetermined.

In literally every system that ever existed there was someone wealthier and someone poorer what matters is the dynamics, can the poorer become wealthy, can the wealthy lose money if they stop being productive proportionally to their wealth? This is the problem

Same thing for example with animals. If you just post online on TikTok or twitter oh poor critters while eating meat or wearing fur and not doing anything that means you don’t care. So I prefer not lying to myself about it. I don’t care.

Workers rights in third world countries same thing. Didn’t do a single wallet voting? Then it means I don’t care. I am not going to virtue signal for fake points or clout. Action is caring, words are worthless deception, most often self-deception.

Is it clear what I am trying to convey? What I mean is all those communities like collapse or the like on Reddit they don’t really care about climate, poverty or any of it. They just use them to solve their mental health problems. Shift the blame and responsibility from themselves.

Those who care are aplenty though probably not enough and are doing various volunteering work.

I am not really built like most people. I don’t have some kind of self image that can be harmed or damaged. The only common denominator is lack of care so to say which is interesting and I only got to fully see it through psychedelics. It’s rather entertaining to delve into your psyche and dissect it, it’s fun. And fun is my number one interest and it’s really not easy to fuel my fun meter constantly.

I have a rule that if my noise is a problem for someone they will surely come, knock on the door, let me know and I will stop it immediately.

It hasn’t happened yet so I assume no one is inconvenienced.

Actually I extend this to all areas of life. I believe that if something I do is a problem for someone, they will tell me. It’s much more sane than second guessing if my guitar session gets through the walls or not and checking the thickness in the architecture plan and calculating decibels.

Haha I am so intimidating brr scary. In my country we haven’t reached such levels of madness yet and generally people are normal. The place in which you dread to interact with your fellow humans must be terrible indeed. But then I live in a slav hobbiton among religious peaceful hobbits. Racist and xenophobic hypocrites yes but never violent. Good people.

I disagree. It’s the only sane way of thinking. You cannot be in the head of other people, cannot possibly know what they tolerate or not and then if they say they don’t like something you do you must decide if their intolerance is reasonable.

It’s something I live by. And strongly believe is the only way to properly savour the fruits of reality.

Take everything as it was yours too and if someone contests it then you can split the cake. This is the secret to having truly good time in this waking world.

Most people are afraid to take things, to set boundaries, to be bold and they dwell and die in unhappiness having nothing. Don’t be like them. Fight for yourself.

I hope one day we will find a method to finance websites operating costs without ads. Meanwhile I will be using blockers and hope someone else’s does the ad clicking.

It’s my little internet piracy you could say, if I am already doing it with every movie and tv show and most games it would be out of character. I am obsessed about saving money and so if I can get away with it I will do almost anything.
Same with the health insurance I have 1/5 of the real cost for full package because of various gray area tax optimisations. Then double dipping on real estate rent+appreciation. Most efficient used car purchase. 25 year old fridge and washing machine because new ones break down too fast and can’t be repaired. Manual renovation between tenants to save on labour cost. Lack of addictions. Relatively cheap hobbies. 4 milion in assets, zero debt.

Analog clocks are kind of annoying tbh. Sometimes you need that little extra energy you have to spend on wondering whether it is 11:37 or 11:38 already by carefully visually bisecting the circle section between 7 and 8.
Millimetres of white space keep you wondering about the nature of analogue vs digital, discrete vs continuous and measurement uncertainty while you have better things to do but cannot just give up on OCDing whether it is exactly 11:37:30 already or maybe it is 11:37:35? And boom in these seconds you were wondering it is already pointless because it is the past and now it is time to wonder if it is 11:38:15 or 11:38:30

Whereas for digital it is just:
oh it is 11:11 on 11.11.11, how cool, life’s good

Thus it is my opinion that analogue clocks are virgins whereas digital are chads

It’s not about political views but more about certain outrage culture that maybe is less noticeable than twitter but is more annoying.

I got banned from kickstarter scam subreddit then forgot about it, commented on another account and got IP/browser banned sitewide thrice that way.

It just doesn’t make sense that you can comment on some shady subreddit then get banned site wide by some scummy company/mod/russian troll that operates the questionable subreddit.
