A MOBA/RTS hybrid.

As in… You fight on the usual 3 lane DotA style map with towers, jungle, a main base, etc. but you control a small platoon of units you produce from a barracks instead of a champion. Your supply limit starts at 15 but can go up to a small army (maybe a cap of 50) by late game.

Your main form of income comes from killing minions, creeps, jungle camps, towers, etc.

I originally wanted to make it as a StarCraft II custom map but the map editor is more complex than actual fucking game dev software to use.

Footman Frenzy was more about automatically massing units, buying upgrades and building deathballs. Unit compositions and counters would matter a lot more here.

This game would be more about consciously chosing what units to build and using them to fight against the enemy.

Let’s say for example… one player had two siege tanks backed by a small force of marines, marauders and medivacs. You’d fight it with two lurkers and some roaches/hydralisks.

It’s surreal to see comments so hostile towards Islam, on Lemmy of all places… And some of these are arguments I often see racists throw around.

I don’t understand what market the PlayStation Portal was designed for.

You’re basically paying £200 for a DualSense controller MacGyver’d on a tablet screen that can only remote play PS5 games or stream from PSNow. There are both cheaper and better options which support not just Sony’s ecosystem but also other gaming platforms.

Not to mention that cloud gaming in general just sucks.

The amount of people on Reddit who shill for companies like EA and Activision is shocking.

Once wrote a comment on the lines of ‘sadly, British gamers mostly have terrible taste in video games, 90% of us don’t give a shit about anything unless it’s GTA, FIFA or Call of Duty. We literally reward companies for shitty consumer practices.’

Most of the replies I got were calling me an asshole and were acting like I’m trying to police what people can like/dislike.

We had BLM protests here in Britain too, but George Floyd isn’t the main reason we’ve grown to distrust cops.

Two years ago, a serving Metropolitan police officer ‘arrested’ a young woman who was walking home from her friend’s house on the basis of her breaching COVID lockdown guidelines. He then raped and murdered her. The Metropolitan Police then proceeded to brutally crack down upon a peaceful vigil held to mourn her.

Wayne Couzens is thankfully serving life without parole for his sickening crime, and the ladies who were manhandled, tackled down and detained during the vigil have been compensated by the courts. This whole scandal because the catalyst that led to Cressida Dick resigning as the Met Police Commissioner (long overdue), and investigations that found institutionalized racism and misogyny in the Met.

Another example is the ‘Kill the Bill’ protests, which were protests held against the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill which was going through Parliament, which essentially wanted to give the police greater powers to suppress peaceful protests and dish out ten year prison sentences for causing a public nuisance. This came off the back of environmental groups blocking roads to protest the government’s inaction on climate change.

Protests to oppose the bill led to a riot in Bristol where a police station was vandalized, and a later protest which was cracked down upon with violence. I remember seeing a clip on Twitter of a police officer bashing a woman in the face with his riot shield.

Firstly, these screenshots are from The Elite’s and RWhiteGoose’s own Discord servers. He was part of the site’s council that effectively moderated Goldeneye speedrun records and set precedent for new rules, hence why they didn’t do anything until this all came out.

Secondly, Karl barely took part in discussions on these servers. Of the 150 screenshots, he appears in a grand total of one where he debates the taboo surrounding white people saying the n-word with Goose. He even addressed the interactions he had with Goose and all the allegations made against him by Tomatoanus and others in a video.
