It let’s you pick from a whole bunch of local models to download, some trained by Microsoft and the like. In my experience it’s pretty responsive on a 2070s ive had for years now, but the responses aren’t as good as something like gpt4. Probably about on par with gpt3 in most cases if you choose a larger model.

I just bought the FUTO voice input app as well from them and it’s genuinely amazing. It has punctuation where it needs to. It cuts out all the UM’s. And the best part is, I don’t have to pretend that I’m talking to a robot. I can just speak as if I’m talking to a normal person and it gets it right nearly every single time. It is so worth the $5.

I personally use hop2desk for all of my remote access needs. Works wonderfully on any pc as well as on android! Best part is you dont need to dick with ports or anything like that, just make sure you set a good persistent password and you’re good to go.

My biggest issue with windows is it not telling you the exact reason for some weird behavior, and then making it intentionally difficult to go in and modify/fix it yourself.

Linux might break more often, but when it does I’ve ALWAYS been able to recover or restore it far far easier than I ever could on a windows machine, partially due to the actually helpful error messages.

I'm a relatively new player, been at it for three or four months now. I mostly play solo so I'm figuring things out on my own and sometimes it's slow going; I resort to googling things quite often because I don't quite understand what's going on. I've gotten up to MR14. Been unable to beat the MR15 test so far as I'm pretty bad...

The only thing I despised was the fact that they locked all of that shit behind having a necramech, and it was either expensive or a pain in the ASS to get. Seriously the necramech grind was the most boring and drawn out portion of the entire game for me thus far, and im mr 20 at this point.

Other than that the actual quest was great, and I also find Kahl’s missions to be fun so, I’m over it lol.

The thing with VPN’s is that you’re only shifting the trust from your ISP to your VPN provider. That provider can still see pretty much everything you’re doing and your real IP, if they wanted to. To add to this, plenty of VPN companies have been found logging when they said they didn’t. I would say either set up traffic for I2P, or simply go with an actually no logs VPN company like Mullvad, who’s been battle tested and doesn’t log, and you’ll be fine.

People also say that because it’s important to understand what a VPN is and does as well. It wasn’t originally meant to be any sort of anonymity tool, the technology exists to make it seem as if your traffic is coming from somewhere else - which allows for things like remote work on a local network.
