Just run a cron job updating your IP every 24 hours. All I’ve ever done for the last decade or so.

I should clarify, I use namecheap as my registrar and Afraid as my nameserver. Afraid has curl, cron and even just a url i think you can use to update your IP.

Here’s the thing. I’m better off than i was last year. And the year before and the year before that. With that said, 2023-2024 was less of an improvement than any of the last 5 years or so because of cost of living. So am i better off than last year? Sure. An i concerned that’s only gonna last another year or so? Very.

It honestly didn’t look good to me in 1999 when RIT was hitting 40k and i only had to pay half the cost. Can you imagine now?
